Part left over after door panel removal

Featured Replies

Hey folks,

I was trying to install factory curb lights into my 2004 Legacy. I assumed the wiring would be there, but it wasn't. When the door panel was off, a part fell off that I can't find a home for. It is a round wire ring, a little over an inch in diameter. Does anyone know where this goes?

Also, can anyone tell me about the wiring for these lights?

Thanks

Does your legacy have manual window cranks? sounds like the retaining ring of a window crank arm

Is it more like a horseshoe which curves to the outside at the ends? If so, it is as Soup says - the retainer clip for the windor crank. See if the handle pulls off.

I have power windows, so no crank. The ring is about 2 full turns of wire.

Hi,

It's not the spring that goes on the back of the door lock barrel is it ?
