January 25, 200422 yr I finally caught up with the 90's and got a digital camera. I have created a folder for you to all laugh at my cobbled together car. http://usmb.net/gallery/album157 I'm not the most computer literate, I could not find the name feature for the folder.
January 25, 200422 yr hey dude... its not the 90s anymore Your car looks fine to me... better than mine!
January 25, 200422 yr I wouldn't laugh at your cobbled together car.. it bears a striking resemblance to my cobbled together car .. Interesting place to mount your gauges.. Why didn't I think of that?.. Been looking all over the damn car trying to find a clean place to mount them..
January 25, 200422 yr Author I have them in the same place on my Galant vr4. I paid less than 30 for both.........The gauges in my galant were more $ than I have in this whole car, boy if I could start that project over again.
January 25, 200422 yr Lucky you.. I can't find any stores around here that even carry a boost gauge.. I am going to have to order one online.. I have the same temp gauge you do.. was hoping to be able to just walk in and buy a matching boost gauge
January 25, 200422 yr Author Yeah, I just happened to look through the "bargin" bin at my local auto parts store and found one for $14.99
January 25, 200422 yr Awesome I need to take notes on that intercooler I want to do a front mount in my XT turbo . Did you just use radiator hose and PVC for the tubing? Did you seal it in anyway? Edit: on second look it seems like you used just PVC. Is that about the only option or just the cheapest one?
January 25, 200422 yr Author I have not chosen a scoop as of yet.... I like to call it my little heat sink, all joking aside It does at speed have enough air moving across it to feel the difference after a hard drive between pre and post pipes. Pvc is by far the cheapest route it does not flow nearly as well as mandrels but what are you going to do for <$6? Josh
