July 1, 200916 yr Hot off the press... Read it and weep car manufactures. http://news.prnewswire.com/DisplayReleaseContent.aspx?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/07-01-2009/0005053853&EDATE= Subaru Leads the way:banana:
July 1, 200916 yr Surprise, surprise to see record auto sales by any manufacturer in this tough economy. Great to see Foresters are selling well. Our neighbor loves their new Forester. Tribeca sales are in the dumpster. I don't think it will ever be a sales success.
July 1, 200916 yr I think subaru will drop the tribeca at anytime. once they refine the legacy and outback.
July 1, 200916 yr So, is Subaru still losing money? You can't lose money one each car sold and make it up on volume. Undoubtedly many full size SUV owners are moving to Subaru for AWD, lower price, and lower operating costs. Increased sales in this economy are impressive. I wonder how CRV and RAV4 sales are doing?
July 2, 200916 yr I think I know why the Outback is decreasing in sales. The Forester is the better value, it has more space, a higher ride height and starts out about a $1000 less. I wonder how the 2010 model will affect it? Twitch
July 4, 200916 yr The new 2010 Outback is as big as a Tribeca. How about a Legacy wagon like they sell in the rest of the world?
