i used the 2 pully for douple belts on just the alt and PS so when it got wet it didnt slip

Many models had the *redundant* belt arrangement.

 

It works well, as long as both belts are the same type and age.

Its a side of the road saver too..

 

My GL had the 2 matching belts and when I threw one the car kept running. I knew it was time to replace it when I saw the broken one peeking out from the skid plate.

 

if only they had a way to double up the timing belts so THEY wouldnt leave you stranded
