August 3, 200916 yr did i miss something - i thought he said soapy water, slide it into place then let it dry? you're supposed to heat gun it? it's summer time, how about just park it outside facing the sun on a sunny day? i have a propane torch but i better use the wife's hair dryer.

August 4, 200916 yr Author It's a sticker. Blu is a 96-99 outback. They have a sticker in that area. It's an easy fix. Here in rust land they all do that. where can i get the sticker?

August 6, 200916 yr Author YAY i found the stripes, 102.00 for the entire side, odd how the gold stripe is 50.00 more then the plain stripe. Makes me wonder if it is gold leaf. nipper

August 7, 200916 yr Author The left side stripe kit (J1210AS091) lists for $72.53 and costs $58.02. That is for gray with a gray stripe, The limited with the gold stripe is 102.00/160ish list. We were all suprised how much more the gold stripe was. nipper
October 30, 200916 yr Author UpdateL Took off the stripe today (and broke a freaking trim peice in the porcess). Blu has super minimal cancer under the strips. So little that mabe a tablespoon of body puter and treatment will fix it. in this case the bubbling made it look far wors then it actually is. Now i need that dumb trim peice. nipper
