Does anybody run dual exhaust on their daily? I was thinking of the more practical benefits (if I have a headgasket leaking it'll be easier to tell which one it is depending on how it fails). It seems to me that some performance would be gained too because of the equal length.

 

Can anybody confirm whether or not I would gain or lose anything?

i ran dual exhaust on my brat it worked good with the Weber carb, didn't feel a gain or loss in power it just sounded cool.... you'll need a cross over between the pipes

Throw you an un-equal length header on there instead.

Thanks Greenley, that's what I was looking for.

There could possibly be a weight penalty with a dual exhaust setup. Might negate any other gains.
