luv2cmybrat Posted December 30, 2003 Share Posted December 30, 2003 Check this out,My brat had no oil pressure,checked gauge by grounding wire,gauge worked,Bought a new sending unit,still no pressure,removed oil pump,installed another (used) still no pressure.Removed oil pan found bearing fragments in oil pan.Gave up Found another EA81 with 60+ oil pressure.Install in my brat.Still no oil pressure.Does the gauge work like a resister? GD all you have to do is run a few wires dont ya? Shouldnt be to hard.. Theres 3 holes through the firewall that you can run the wires through..
