  1. I think this is an excellent idea, although every old part number I've had looked up has been discontinued many many many years ago, this may be different in the USA? The old books do make interesting browsing, and can be a helpful resource, just perhaps a bit useless as far as their intended purpose.
  2. To confirm, this is a front windscreen rubber? Do they sell to the public?
  3. I have dual carbs on my regular EA71 in my GSR. I don't have any figures but it gave it a bit more go and opened up another 500/1000rpm perhaps.
  4. According to the book, my GSR is actually a '74 which sounds OK as it was registered in December '73. Also I was mistaken, the GFT is registered as a '74, but it's vin number places it as a '73...
  5. Oh, I'd completely forgotten I had been given this.
  6. OK. The 1973 GSR A22-299854 And 1975 GFT A22-283396
  7. Cheers griffo, I will note them down and get back to you. Cheers
  8. A trip to a notorious car wreckers here in NZ found these, the only Gen1 wagons I've ever seen. A sad sight indeed. Not that there is really much to be salvaged, but for those that might be interested its a fairly iconic place in automotive circles in these parts. http://www.horopitomotors.co.nz/
  9. The Brisbane company refuse to email me back about the two windscreens I linked. Haven't done a lot though otherwise. Really ought to.
  10. I have been in contact with a parts supplier here in NZ and am trying to match a suitable rear windscreen rubber. I have also found an Australian glass supplier that shows (I think) a hardtop and coupe rear glass in stock, am waiting to hear back from them if they are willing to ship to NZ though.. Coupe http://www.autoglasswarehouse.com.au/shop/subaru-leone-a22c-2-door-coupe-1971-gt-1979--rear-windscreen-47741 Hardtop http://www.autoglasswarehouse.com.au/shop/subaru-leone-a22-hard-top-2-door-coupe-1971-gt-1979--rear-windscreen-47740
  11. I should probably start a thread asking about the rear windscreen rubber.
  12. I have had both vehicles next to each other now, the rear windscreen looks to be measure pretty close at first inspection, but without the GSR's screen intact its hard to say. I have begun making inquiries in NZ about rear windscreen seals and custom glass options. Does anyone know of a commonly available rear windscreen rubber that will fit a 1400 Coupe?
  13. I'd imagine shipping of a window from America would be many times the vehicles worth sadly. A plexiglass window would be a good option, but I don't think it would meet the 6 monthly inspection requirements for cars here. Also the GFT is a long way from meeting those requirements too. I won't be parting it out in a hurry though. Not if I can help it.
  14. It's a 1974 according to the registration. And yep that's it, good searching! I paid $100NZD ☺
  15. I think that's who I've spoken to and they tried to sell me a whole GSR for $3000. They weren't willing to part out just the window.
  16. The coupes rear window got smashed in storage. And, err, maybe.
  17. Boo! I had suspected as much. It might give me a starting point to get a custom glass made up or maybe even this one cut down?
  18. I just picked up a GFT hardtop. Hoping to use the rear windscreen for my GSR coupe. I haven't managed to get the two cars side by side yet. Can anyone confirm if the hardtop and coupe rear windows are the same? My eye-crometer says maybe? If anyone would like pictures or more info of the GFT I am happy to oblige.
  19. So a while back I recall a new member asking somewhere here for pictures of, or an example to photograph to model off for a video game. Looks like it happened? Who is going to go and buy it? http://news.xbox.com/2015/01/games-forza-horizon-2-g-shock-car-pack
  20. Someone Stateside with be of more help than me no doubt, but what about the Ronald Regan Brat? That has had a thorough ground up rebuild right fellas?
  21. This is fantastic, I'm guessing you need very detailed photos?
  22. Here is mine after I'd had it out and back in to try an sort out some rust.
  23. Only just found your thread here, didn't know this section existed. Nice!
