  1. Thank you both, I will check those things first and let you know what I find.
  2. I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the cooling (electric) fan won't run, various opinions have been cooling sensor, thermostat, resistor?? Fuse is good I checked that. Hear is what happened the temp gauge went from 210 degrees(normal) up to 240,then the check engine light came on,A/C started blowing warm air, I was at an idle with A/C on. I turned off A/C and jeep and let it sit for awhile. Temp went back to normal, light stayed on. Drove Jeep for 30 miles, light went off and A/C blowing cold again. The fan does NOT come on when A/C is on and I think it is supposed to, any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated I can't afford a mechanic right now. Thanks in advance, Trudy
  3. Hello Gentlemen, I have returned!!!!! Gen 2 core is about an inch larger all the way around and the inlet and outlet pipes are completely different, it would take some fancy mod's to make it work in a gen 1. Just my long lost two cents
  4. I have never been known to give up easily sooo yes it will get replaced if I can find an inner fender or repaired either way it's getting fixed. Might have to duct tape it for the time being LOL
  5. Mod, please move this thread to Historic section, posted in wrong area, sorry!!! Thanks
  6. Source of my water and air flow problem in the interior of the Brat, yuck!!
  7. No hard feelings here Caboo, glad you were able to get some useful parts, post some pics of your body work as you make progress !!

  9. Hey Jon, maybe you should reconsider the hacksaw, they don't call it "hack" for nothing. Go with a dremel !!!!!
  10. I really like "How to Keep Your Subaru Alive". It is simple to use and follow. Good luck !!
  11. Just measured my Gen 1 Brat, bed length 5 ft. 2 inch with tailgate up, with tailgate down it is 6 ft 9 inches.
  12. , Wagons, that cheddar will do it everytime!!!!! Jon, mouse turds in the face is just plain nasty, I hope you gave them a taste of their own medicine !!
  13. my .02 cents, keep the one you have and replace the motor, add a/c. Of course I am prejugdice to the Gen 1
