  1. Thank you both, I will check those things first and let you know what I find.
  2. I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the cooling (electric) fan won't run, various opinions have been cooling sensor, thermostat, resistor?? Fuse is good I checked that. Hear is what happened the temp gauge went from 210 degrees(normal) up to 240,then the check engine light came on,A/C started blowing warm air, I was at an idle with A/C on. I turned off A/C and jeep and let it sit for awhile. Temp went back to normal, light stayed on. Drove Jeep for 30 miles, light went off and A/C blowing cold again. The fan does NOT come on when A/C is on and I think it is supposed to, any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated I can't afford a mechanic right now. Thanks in advance, Trudy
  3. Hello Gentlemen, I have returned!!!!! Gen 2 core is about an inch larger all the way around and the inlet and outlet pipes are completely different, it would take some fancy mod's to make it work in a gen 1. Just my long lost two cents
  4. I have never been known to give up easily sooo yes it will get replaced if I can find an inner fender or repaired either way it's getting fixed. Might have to duct tape it for the time being LOL

  17. Welcome to the board . There is a wealth of knowledge with the members of this board and I am sure someone will be able to help you. It might help if you are a little more specific with your problem. Explain what exactly is happening after you turn the key, that will help. Good luck with your subbie and enjoy the board!!!
  18. Got the steering wheel off without the puller. The trick is to rock back and forth GENTLY. I was trying to pull like hell which didn't do anything but hurt my shoulders !!
  19. I changed one once and Moosens told me to use a 5 way painters tool to remove the seal ($4 at hardware store) and a washer approx. the same size as the seal to put it back on to get even pressure around the seal while installing it(.40 cents). It was really easy and it worked.
  20. Hey Paul, (Moosens to the rescue again)well I finaly got it off but for everyone else who has trouble I can tell you that the 4 spoke wheels do not have screws but you have to turn the horn pad counter-clockwise 1/4 inch and then pull like hell and it will come off. Thanks so much Paul I would have never figured that out. Now if I could just get the wheel itself off!!!!! (will borrow a puller LOL)
