I dropped off my Brat to the shop today and guess what ??? The guy had his tractor out front and it had a jumpseat on it instead of a regular seat. He said it's been on there about 15 years and is very comfy (Old tractor) .

Totally Frustrated.
Twowagons replied to Seahag1978's topic in Historic Subaru Forum: 50's thru 70's
Mary. I too went through a total frustration period with my 80 Brat but with each passing repair, guess, knock on the hood, kicking of the tires I got better. I am now to the point where I am excited about the resto . I have put exactly 34 miles on my Brat since i bought it and they were from on the way home, but I know someday soon she will be a daily driver and that it is going to be a great winter in New England when I drive by all the Jeeps, big SUV's that are stuck in the snow!!! Keep your chin up and your wallet open, you will not have any regrets, I promise -
Does anyone know if a wagon or hatch fender from 1980 will fit on a 1980 Brat???

I am going to put 15" pug alloys on my 1980 Brat, no lift just plan old Brat, anyway does anyone know if I need to make any mods, the pug wheels look much deeper then the 13" spokes that are on it. I just want to have my ducks in a row before I try to mount these things. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks Trudy
