I am trying to remove my steering wheel on 80 Brat and can't get the horn pad off. I do not see any screws etc.. holding it on but it won't come off. any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks Trudyvery nice indeed!!Mary, count on the Northern Vermont Gypsy, we'll be there !!!!I had an anti-backfire valve failure with my ea71 and just removed it and plugged the hoses, my mechanic rebuilt the carb and set the differant idle speeds etc.. and no more backfiring. He went outside to have a smoke around 5:00 a.m. when he saw a gen 1 blue Brat with fuzzy dice hanging from the rearview mirror crushing down the road. He said it was in really good shape.
