wow im impressed, that really looks good. i have a 2000 subaru rs and i want the gauges on top my dash.. and i want to buy the subaru guage top thing and fab something so ill need plastic and i was wondering where you got that plastic from? thanks man matt

phase 2 doesnt have problems? hahahaha at our dealership we have had more headgaskets in phase 2, cars have around 20-30,000 miles mosty outbacks and legacys. its gonna be a recal kinda deal that we put a aditive in the antifreeze to stop this. phase 2 are great motors also but they are no better than the first. my opinion if you want a great reliable motor i have seen 2.2, (newer version) that have 300,000 miles on them and never been opened up other than belts and so on. also 1.8s they are great motors also matt

i personaly think the phase 1 2.5s are good. head gaskets yeah the come but its in the 100-200,000 mile range. im around them all day every day so thats maybe why. matt

skip can you get a closer pic on top of the plow with like the springs and stuff. i want to make one for my brat or wagon for the winter. does it work good? and are those lawn mower tracter blades? thanks matt

im also for this in my 89 wagon, with a 3 speed auto. i have a 85 gl wagon 5 speed dual range. everything work good there ? in the 89? also what about the comp. and stuff if i go to maunual will the car still start and not think its in drive or somthing matt

just got a 85 gl wagon 5 speed with 305,000 all original 00rs - 25,000 miles 86brat 170,000 miles 83brat-90,000 miles 89wagon-150,000 miles

EXACLY what i was thinking, the forester probably has that plastic splash pan under neith and the bonehead working on it probably looked up.. scratched his head and drained that instead of the oil pan.... let us know if that could of happend matt

get the control unit reprogramed for the popping, also is it a summer day when it smokes or is it cold out? how many miles on this car? matt

ive already got four new plastics rings, but thanks anyways.. i could maybe file it out a little and get the plastic to fit hmm haha matt

well that pi**es me off... i shoulda measured them good before i went and got them dipped. the 82 hub cap deal is 1/8 inch smaller. i have 4 new plastics for the caps so wonder if i can still use it.. im thinking no and have to go get that 83 wheel from the previous owner of the brat.. thanks matt

i have a 83 brat and i have 3 83 wheels and one 82 wheel, is there any diff at all in them. i had them all acid dipped and im ready to get them powdercoated off white like factory, but is there any difference in these. like where the hub cap mounts it like of looks different but maybe its just me. its hard to tell matt

how about synthetic, i put that in my front and rear diff on my 89 gl 4x4

fixed her.... pulled off the hose to that idel control vavle and sprayed carb spray down it as i was revving it up. works awesome now. thanks all for your help matt

now that sounds just like my problem, with out stalling at stop signs, today it started to go crazy at like 3500 rpm so i took out a huge wrench and beat that idel control valve and it started to come down to normal. maybe that thing is bad? ill test some stuff tomorrow after work thanks matt

only thing, if it were the temp sensor wouldnt it have a hard time starting? that valve dealy i sprayed some carb cleaner down there. i might have to look for another one and try that. it sucks when its this cold to sit int he car to let it warm up matt

on my 89 4x4 automatic wagon, it ran awesome till it got really cold out. now it wont idel when its cold. if it does it will run at about 600 rpm till it warms up a little then cough and take off ideling normal. any suggestions? matt

why do people put redline tires on 60s and 70s chevys, its all the look man, they are a radial tire, they arent that bad. im restoring my 83 brat and i want originality hope that helps matt

what were the model of the factory tires for a 83 subaru brat? they were bridgestones but what is the model? and can you still get them or anything close? wonder if anyone still has some. id like to get some for my wheels im getting all redone. matt

on my 01 ob 5 speed it makes a whining noise under light acceleration between 35-55 mph . it goes away when coasting and under a lot of load. all motor and tranny mounts are free. ring and pinion is replaced and the rear end is good. what can it be? thanks matt
