  1. To clarify a little more: Well what happened, is that my pulley came completely off, and I would like to know if there is any sort of spacer between the bolt, pulley, and crankshaft.

I need to know if this has any spacers or anything because its been real loose, and it came unscrewed causing the car to begin to overheat, so I looked and it seems to be slightly wore from being rubbed on with that bolt. Anyways, there are no spacers or anything for it, just the bolt? Hers a crappy pic, hopefully you can tell what I'm talking about
  3. ^^---Yes, when i press the "Max A/C" button it makes a SCCRREEEEEEEECHCCHCHHCHCHCHCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! noise for like 20 seconds and then stops...... I'm 99.99999% sure its the belt, it looks good, as far as the rubber... it seems to be fairly tight/tensioned. I guess it could be a bit tighter...so how do i tighten the belt? Make it dummy-proof because Im only 16:headbang: pics are appreciated. Tyler
  4. I was in the same boat as you yesterday, I decided it would be a pain to run wires all the way to the rear hatch, so I decided that the other doors would be all right. Sure enough, I take off the panel, theres already speaker wire and holes drilled for speakers, FROM THE OEM! So im excited...I just need to get some spacers so I can mount my speakers,(their deep). Oh, and mine is a 93 Loyale
  5. Thanks for all the advice guys.....i know this is semi-offtopic, but what 6 lugs will wit if i drill out my hubs? is it like only the ones listed in the faq? or any six lug? keep the good advice coming! Im most likely gonna order my stuff within the next 3 days!!! im psyched!

My car is MAINLY going to be a daily driver to school, partys, friends, etc.(I'm only 16) I will be doing very minimum offroading, I don't intend to get too serious into it, I want my car to look mean and be able to have alot of fun in it, and take the occasional"shortcuts":rolleyes: to get where Im going faster, that is the main reason I don't see the hassel of a DR tranny. And the fact that I only paid 300$ for a good cond. car, and dont want to go through the trouble of finding/buying/installing a new tranny.

  8. So I'm about to purchase my High Clearance lift for my 93 Loyale 5spd. 4WD and was wondering if it is COMPLETELY bolt on. or are there any mods I will have to do. Also are there any tips for doing it also? Also whats the biggest size tires W/O trimming and banging? What about if I trim and bang can I fit 30's?

  11. Nice, where exactly do you get ground FX/bodykits like that for these cars? I belive that I'm gonna go with a 4-4 1/2" lift. what is a good size for tires for street user/minimum offroad? Im wanting about 30" maybe a bit more. Im not going to do a tranny swap for a DR so you might as well stop saying to do so.

  14. Ok I guess I'll start from the beginning I have a 1993 Loyale 4WD Manual Single Range tranny. I'm 16 years old(get my license May 2nd), and my grandfather has been a mechanc/body man his whole life, whatever it is he can do it. I'm not sure how much that I want to lift it yet, I'm thinking either 4" from AA or 6" from SJR. Im kindof limited on money(my mom wont let my bank account go below 1000$ I have about 1,600$ in there now) so that leaves me with about 600$. Now, I know that my grandpa will help me out a little bit on price. I'm just not sure how much. ^^What Is all that about? is that hard to do or what? I'm also about 90% sure that I have to replace a CV in the process(When I take sharp turns, it makes a loud, popping, ratcheting, click noise. The boots on the front are also torn) I do work and bring in about 180$ every 2 weeks. I will also need to buy a set or tires and rims. (I will be doing the 6-lug swap, does that work with all 6-lug wheels) I believe I can just get some wheels from a junkyard or salvage yard for relatively cheap. Tires Im not to sure. So basically I'd like to know what lifts and what do you think a total build cost estimate would be? And just basic advice for these projects. P.S I will keep y'all updated with pics when I do it.   15. So I found it and they do look corroded, so how exactly do I clean them? I mean, their riveted down.?

  17. Yo, I have a 93 Loyale S/W Manual 4WDPushbutton. And the fuel guage doesn't work, this bugs me alot so um, how do I fix it?
