found out today from 1 of my subie freinds that my 81 brat is dead, and a new motor is found and is a 85 and they r interchangeable . price on that motor fo the 85 is 450 with 75,ooo miles on it. I did find a 82 sedan for 250, runs great probley goin to check it out tommorrow .BRAT IS OFFICALLY DEAD:dead: it will sit untill somebody in subie land get it or someone around here gets it:( sad day for me lost my subie and my job layed me off too.

what happens when the oil pump goes. what kind of noise it makes. my brat when it is runnin the oil lite stays on and wont go off and make bangin noise on the left front piston but drinks no oil ,does not smoke,nor is there any water in the oil,and there no oil in the the water neither.

yes where u live and how much and can it hook up to 81 brat

well the parts bin includes - radiators rotors ,lots of carbs, ditsys,1 set of headlights and taillights oil pumps front wheel bearings , wire ,there is a half a motor in it ,clutch press plate to bumpers exhaust some steelies to back brat seats, thats off top my head theres more just have not looked, but on the brat the front brush gaurd is factory made but i wood half to have extra for it moose use to belong to my grandpa meens somthin to so wood have extra if wanted it:horse: <<<<<< thats funny as hell who thought of it

well guys my 81 brat dl died thurs nite the lil truck through a rod . but 82 wagon has risen from the ashes bought it two days ago the brat will sit in the yard untill either i get a motor for it or some one here wants to buy it. blown motor just the body an tires i will let it go 4 300$ bucks ph.1-828-689-5266.an thats all parts included with the two bins of brat parts
