Protecting NOS gen 1 body panels
How best can I protect the interior of NOS doors and tailgate form a Gen 1 vehicle? There use to be Ziebart...none here though. I know that all these panals rusted from the inside out and I want to save these. They are new /never installed. (gray primer inside and out).

75 4WD Wagon Update
The lever down is 4WD/ up is FWD. There should be an ignition lock. The steering design has a LOT of play left to tight before locking though. If you take the ignition switch off, that takes care of the locked steering. (Not to hard to do) Todd

SUBARU3 replied to SUBARU3's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI'm going to check all the connections. Obviously, time wears on these more than mileage. One Impreza has 63k, the other 83k. Both 95's

Funny noise.....(Impreza)
SUBARU3 replied to SUBARU3's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYes, it does it in every gear. It's an automatic. It does not sound like bearing noise, as it does not change tone at all with speed changes. It does not change under acceleration or deaceleration either. It's like something just "turns-on" at 20 mph!

Funny noise.....(Impreza)
I have this strange noise coming from what appears to be the transmission area. It's like soft, muffled, "tea Kettle" whistle. Very soft. Starts at 20 mph and stops at 20 mph. It never gets louder or quieter with speed changes. If you shift to neutral, it's still present, so it's not engine rpm related either. It's only constant is it stops as you slow to 20 mph! It starts at 20 mph. No other problems with the transmission. I'm stumped. Could it be speedo cable? driveshaft? (95 Impreza 2.2 AWD) Todd

You need the standard/NO ac box? I might be able to locate that, but it will be after my friend installs the AC. What do you want for the harness?

OBD II scanner suggestions?
SUBARU3 replied to 740gle's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI got those lines when I had no code. But when a code is stored it will get it. I disconnected a sensor, got a code and it captured it. Someone told me the CEL can be on with no code stored??
