Back glass measurement
The good thing is at the rate most of us do our "restorations" is about the same pace it takes for people to get parts found and out. Lol.

The "help me finish my coupe" thread
Lol. No problem. Like I said on the kicks the stage two would get you close enough and are sure to be a lot easier to come by than the stage ones.

Where did you find a sedan rear window gasket!? That's the last leaky part I need to replace on my 74.

This is the pass side kick panel out of my 76 wagon. Vinel over cardboardish. I have a pair of these foam type ones that I thought were from the coupe. But when I put them in they weren't exactly rite. I must have pulled them from my 79 Brat before I scraped it. I imagine they would work in a pinch. In not sure where the correct ones out of my coupe ended up.

Best pic I could get of the E-brake cables. Looks like once apon a time there was a rubber strap that linked them to the tie rod so they would move with the steering.

Finding one of these intact should be tricky. I've got two...both broken and molested. Might be best off trying to get one made out of fiberglass or something. But I hope you can see the holes where it screws down. And then these clips go along the back side.

Front brake calipers, 1980 BRAT.
I did bolt up 84 Brat calipers, hubs and rotors to my 74 sedan using 79 Brat spinals. So I know they bolt rite up.....I might have actually used the 79 Brat hubs now that I think about it. So if you gotta replace them you might as well upgrade.

My 73' Coupe Restoration
I love the home made rotisserie. Two engine stands? Seems perfect for tiny cars like these. Lol.

WTB: 73' GL coupe items
And some close ups. It's got some dry rot and some imperfections as it is original and seems to have been removed from a car for some reason. But it's in a lot better shape than what's on my car and my 74 sedan for that matter.

Here is an overall look. In the lite.

WTB: 73' GL coupe items
The rear window gasket I have is definitly for a coupe. It was around a peice of glass labeled 74 GL. Here it is laying over the back of my 73.

WTB: 73' GL coupe items
Yes. It's funny how the Brats and wagons can bring in so much money considering how rare the coupes were. But they are still awesome!

It is ashame. I have most of the parts to put it together, but the only way to save that body is to tube frame it or try to graft it to another chassis. That was kinda my plan with it from the start but since all I've done is take it apart in the past 4 years I don't see it happening.

WTB: 73' GL coupe items
I have sadly decided it's time to let my 73 coupe and my over crowding collection of parts for it go. I'm pretty sure I have a pretty nice rear weather strip for it. I just need to double check the dimensions to be sure. I should also have the glove box liner and some okish quarter window gaskets.

EA71 backfire?
My 78 Brat use to do that.....so I ran a strait pipe out the side so I could watch the pretty light show.

Remeber the 2 High dollar Brats?
I remember when I could pick them up for a couple hundred to a $1000 bucks. If only I knew then. :/

Clutch Question?
I wouldn't worry to much about the disk. I'm sure it's all a newer design. If be concerned if the new disk stuck out further as it might interfere with the pressure plate, but being lower I'd say you where good to go as long as everything else seems legit.

gen 1 vs gen 2 clutch cable.
I feel I would have to see them side by side to know for sure. I can't imagine them being all that different though.

EA 71. Building a rally engine and gearbox. I need some help.
There were plenty of 77-79 EA71 FWD 5 speeds. Those are you best bet to go with. The FE had a taller final drive ratio than the others so not ideal for rally really but good for top speed.
