So i left it running for a while. Then turned it off. Turned it back on again. Ran. Turned if off for a while. Now im back to square one. The voltage gauge on my console read steady 12 when it was running and just after i turned it off. But then it started to drop 5 minutes later once it was the engine wasnt running. Its like im leaking power. Could this be a battery issue or a short somewhere? Is there a common weakspot for these cars to short at?

So I hop into my car this morning gonna get my new muffler hooked up. I go to turn on the stereo and it gos for about 3 seconds then dies. Try again, dies. Im thinking ************, batery muyst be dead for a weird reason. Then i try and start it. A super loud rapid snapping/clicking sound coming from somewhere. Pop the hood, the belts turn when i try to start it. The snapping sound went away and was replaced by the cant start engine dieing sound. Sit it for a minute or so. Try again. Same deal with the loud clicking, then to engine dieing sound. The thing just wont turn over. I pushed it outa my parking spot, and push started it. Shes still running right now, havent turned it off yet. Im a newb, is it a starter or something else? Where even is the starter?

Dont notice any temp increase, and done quite a bit of highway driving too. So what you guys say makes me feel stupid haha, just wondering if its that easy to mod the intake now..... OH well, the sound is well worth the 15 minutes it took to do this.

i would disagree. The air was being sucked from a 1 wide tube. Ram air kits for cars increase power, why wouldnt that?

Is there any advantage or disadvantage to keeping the spare under the hood. OR is it better to keep in the back or racked on the roof? Does is help structre or does it do harm but creating more heat?

So I went and bought a cheap angle grinder and just gave'r. Better throttle, and the sound is absolutely amazing. Sounds like theres is WAY WAY more under the hood. The filter sits on the ridges i left. You cant even tell its cut out when all assembled.

you said you drilled a two inch hole in your airbox. And replaced droopy hose after the airbox with solid pipe. can u please take pics so I can copy? Does it make a difference? Also, with spfi, theres hoses going into the droopy pipe, where did you accomidate for those. Im not sure what they do... thanks alot.

My exhuast blew up at after the >- part but before the second cat looking thing. Its bolted together there but I cant get it tight. What should I do. I was thinking I should replace that second cat with a cherry bomb and taking out the muffler. Easy enough to do without a welder or know how. Or should I go to an exhaust shop. I do not have any emissions tests.

MAybe its just me, but notice the angle of the pipe meeting the main pipe. Looks to me that it would be trying to blow exhause back up the pipe to the engine instead of the muffler.

How do I lock the stock rear diff in my 91 Loyale?

I have a 91 Loyale. No lights, bells, or whistles come on when I engage 4wd. But I know it works cus I went and tried it on some loose gravel then climbed a steep hill.

Whats a 3rd eye? I like how the CD deck I installed fit perfectly into the stock dash with all the same hardware. Prefectly fit and replaced the dash radio.
