  1. Pretty soon Im going to send the EA82 to the pasture. Its had a good life. I think I will send it up in smoke. Cuten out the front axles with a torch and smokin the rears till their gone. Then maybe some spare tire drifting. Then to the crusher.
  2. Smokes up here will make you broke. Twice the price. Beer is way more $$ too.
  3. Check the thread I made. Should still be on the first page. "The finding pugs in bc thread" or something like that.
  4. MARC'S IMPORT AUTO REPAIR LTD. Renault - Volkswagen - Peugeot - Citroen All Imports - EUROPEAN & JAPANESE 5542 Mavis Street, Burnaby, B.C. V57 1K5 Fax : 604 432 1060 Parts & Service : 604 432 6636 Marc is mainly a Peugeot guy and hes got lots of pugs. I got my 14" Steelies for $25each with lugs. He has all kinds of pugs. Alloys were quoted $45 each with lugs. He has more alloys than steelies last I check 6 months ago. Good guy. Alpi's European Used Auto Parts (They can connect you with the wheel shop next door) Phone: (604) 583-1686 Fax: (604) 583-3076 E-mail: info@alpiseuropean.com http://www.alpiseuropean.com/ They have had a few sets of Alloy Pugs in 15 without lug nuts laying around. Not sure the price. Unfortunatly most of their pugs have been welding into car jackstands. These guys are generally overpriced but have a wicked database and can pretty much find anything for you anywhere in North America. Thats all I know of for now. You can always do the 6 lug conversion described here in awsome detail: http://www.subarubrat.com/6lugconv.htm
  5. Theres an old guy in burnaby who works on peugeots and hes got a tons of wheels laying around. I got my 14" Steel pugs (peugeot 505) wheels for $25 each with lugs nuts. Hes the same price for 15" Steels. He does Alloys for $40-45 each with the lug nuts aswell. I beleive Alphi's euro junkyard /wheelshop in Surrey on Scott Rd. has a set of 15 inch Pug Alloys, they had em a year ago when I was looking. Not sure the price but they looked nice. Here is a great tutorial on a 6 lug swap: http://www.subarubrat.com/6lugconv.htm
  6. Thanks for the pointer. The next suby will be better. About abusing subies, it is there best attribute. You give it the life it always wanted and actually use its full potential. Sometimes things brake, but thats whats great about subies, they are like lego.

    Lift Question!

Yes I saw your webpage, brilliant work there. Expecially like the 12" project. I understand now. I just wanted to know what direction the offset is in. Is the bottom of the strut extension offset to the outside or the inside of the car. Or front or back?
  8. Lots of cool stuff on my photobucket page ^^^ including some of my old suby from a few years ago. 185/75/14 Wallmart Brand Snow tires. No rubbing. Could easilly go bigger.

    Lift Question!

Say I build a lift for my EA82. I Use 2x6 square tubing to comprise the engine and tranny lower kit. Do you think I could build 7" strut tower extentions? Would that kill my axles? Also, I know its not good to build the strut extentions straight up and down. What are acceptable anges should you choose to throw out that information? I will try and get my head around the rear portion of the lift another day! Thanks guys.
  11. I need to see some of this dual front strut. The brat pic didnt do anything for me. I need to see the brackets. Just bought a welder and I need to start wreckign ************.
  12. I think I might give a shot at custom fabbing my own lift. The easy parts anyway. Then I might have to run to SJR with my tail between my legs!
  13. Had it for a while just never thrown a picture of it up on here. This machine is pure gitter done. Benefits: 4 Point Harness for jumping. Pugs. Bulkiest snowtires I could find. Tractor lights. Duct tape PVC intake. 2 different colors for custom look. Completely gutted interior. Shortened front bumper. Soon to come: SJR Lift. Chrome redrilled toyo rims. MORE LIGHTS. Tire rack. Welded rear. Dreams: Bratify it. Shorten rear end. Quick Mud Puddle http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d4...t=MOV00159.flv
  14. Never heard of this, is there any pictures?
  15. 8000rpm on regular basis. Freereving. 93 EA82. 5spd. 7700rpm in 3rd gear.
  16. I made 190kph on my old 91 Loyale, 5mt, with no muffler and blown out cats. Was on a long flat section of highway with a crosswind off the ocean. About 17 Degress Celcius I think I was 5th gear 6000rpm ish. Edit 190 kilometers/hour = 118.06053 miles/hour 17 degrees celcius = 62.6 degrees fahrenheit
  17. Your going to need a steering knuckle extension.
  18. hmm, theres a few lifted subies running around the south coast then, whistler, out your way then.
  19. Sweet, infortunatly when our suby suspension sags and compresses we lose axle clearance, he can bottom out but will still have the same clearance under the lowest point of his ride. Did I see yoru car in whistler last year?

    D/R Swap

    When swapping in a EA82 5spd D/R Into my car do I need to install a 3.9 Rear end? Its currently just a pushbuttom 4wd EA82. 5spd.
  21. Im just debaiting wether to go 3 1/2" or 6". I plan to use 28" Super Swampers on 14"s. The 3 1/2" is definattly cheaper which would leave some cash for some other goodies. Scott, on your webpage it says for the 3 1/2 you must modify the radius rods? But it says that is something you do if provided with the part? Which part is that? I need to start looking for a spare set. Also, do you have kits in stock or do you build them when you get orders?
  22. Ahh, another thing i need to add to the list of parts to get the D/R in.
  23. Side note* Do you need a matching fron 3.90 if you go to a rear 3.90?
