Interest meter #2...5 lug.
arent those dangerous? i dont think they will pass inspection here in pa, and i would think they would really fudge up your handling, unless you got really deep rims..?

Best off-road lights?
ive got daylighters too. they come with everything you need right out of the box (switch, relay, wires with the terminals already attached, wire loom, and very comprehensive instructions). i mounted mine on the bumper by cutting a 2" hole through the bottom where i wanted to mount them to make room for the clamping piece that goes on the bottom and the wrench. theres an aluminum "washer" that i added for a bit more stability, seeing as most of the bumper is plastic and styrofoam.

A/F gauge reads full rich, bad O2 sensor?
thanks all for the good info. im printing this thread right now so i can take it to the garage this weekend and see if i cant figure something out. oh, and sorry for not quite understanding you the first time around, rallyruss.

A/F gauge reads full rich, bad O2 sensor?
i know what the gauge is supposed to do when it operates correctly, but my problem is that im not seeing it. the lights dont bounce between rich and lean. there is 1 light in the max rich that remains on all the time. if im really on the throttle, not necessarily in gear, i can see that the other lights faintly light up. and this is after the sensor should be hot enough to work (i think). would it be possible that my O2 sensor is bad, but i dont know it because the check engine light might have burned out? the car is 15 years old, and i dont really know much about its life before i bought it, except that the last owner had a very hairy dog.

Anyone ever install Corbeaus?
heh, i guess ill have to make a trip down to my garage sometime this week. they look pretty badass in there, and they pinch me in the seat pretty good.

A/F gauge reads full rich, bad O2 sensor?
i have an auto meter air/fuel gauge, but it always reads full rich. if im WOT, the rest of the lights flicker and kinda bounce back and forth. im not sure if i have a grounding problem, (ive tried multiple spots to ground) or if this would be indicative of a bad O2 sensor. my gas milage is kinda crappy, but i dont drive it for economy. i havent yet seen a check engine light. am i overlooking something?

Anyone ever install Corbeaus?
hot damn! theyre finally installed! i got my brackets on saturday, headed down to the garage and bolted the passenger seat right up. the drivers seat had to wait until sunday, as i needed to get some new, longer bolts to accomodate 1" spacers. the GL-10 drivers seat has a height adjustment and both sliders have the ratchet thingies, connected by a wire to actuate the right side when you pull the lever on the left. to avoid any interference from this, i measured when the adjustment lever was held down as far as possible from the bottom of the seat to the farthest edge of the hoop where the wire was attached. 1" was my lucky number. i got some 1" long nuts, and a few washers and lock washers, and bolted everything down. i was somewhat concerned about safety because i had used the spacers. i sat down and tried to rock the seat around a bit to make sure it was secure. the car rocked, but the seats were rock solid, didnt squeak or anything. now i can really start driving it hard

Built a roof rack (pictures)
thats pretty sharp! i have one small critique though. if youre going to add a light bar to it, i would move the front mounting bar closer to the front of the rack, to safeguard against vibration throwing your lightbeam all over creation.

pugs and whatnot
there seems to be a lot of chatter on the marketplace about people wanting various sizes of peugeot wheels. how hard would it be to get a manufacturer to make small run of 140x4 wheels, in say, 14"-16" sizes? personally, i dont want anything fancy, just something larger (15" or 16") and lighter that i can run on the street with more grip.

Anyone ever install Corbeaus?
well, it will feel good once i actually have the adapters in my hands

Anyone ever install Corbeaus?
good news. i should be getting some new brackets any day now. apparently corbeau also updated their dimensions so that the next person who installs them will be able to bolt them in without any frustration.

i like that wheel on the rear on the old pic. you wouldnt happen to have a full set of those, would you?

Updated oddcomp's MS n' EDIS fuel/DIS
heres my stupid question of the day: would you prevent detonation by making the spark fire after the piston reaches TDC in the compression stroke? is that called retarding the timing? the flip side would be advancing it when putzing around town to increase economy? if not, what happens?
-
Snorkle
if its going to be on there permanently, have it open to the rear. btw, did you paint your KC covers too?

Anyone ever install Corbeaus?
things are looking much better. i drove down to my garage to take a few quick measurements, and emailed my findings to corbeau. looks like theyre going to make me some custom brackets. hopefully they will update their dimensions so anyone else who gets corbeaus can just bolt them right in without any fussin'.

The ultimate fuel additive
hey subyrally, since we're on the east coast, we dont really have crappy gas. theres like 2 gas stations around here that sell 94 octane. i dont know what kinda subie you have, but if youre having problems with detonation, you should be able to get at least 93 octane instead of using a gas additive with 87 octane.

Updated oddcomp's MS n' EDIS fuel/DIS
i have a vague idea of what all this does, but it certainly sounds badass. im thinking you would use this to add more fuel, so you can add more boost, and reduce detonation by adjusting when the spark fires. thats certainly up my road

Anyone ever install Corbeaus?
i talked to andrew at corbeau. after making sure i installed them correctly i told him i could email some pictures to better illustrate what i was saying. on a good note, i was fooling around with the brackets and the sliders alone, and found out that they got those dimensions right. the sliders bolt right into the floor with the adapter brackets bolted in.
