  6. that explains a lot i don't have money to take the easy way out this is a budget build so i am working with what i have and using my skills to build it not letting someone do it for money... Cheers R.
  7. Why would i regret it? i mean it's not like this is permanent later down the road i can swap to single if i feel the need. Now please stop telling me what i should and should not do with MY car. Cheers or not R.
  8. the crank angle sensor sends signal for the spark the cam sensor sends signal for fuel. the cams and crank have little tabs on them and when they pass the sensor it changes the current and sends a signal to the ecu i think i have that right i know i have the terms wrong but thats the jist of it. Cheers R.
  9. hmm i wonder how well it might fit into an ea82. Cheers R.
  10. did you try what i said? i can can almost bet you just lost an axle and if you put it in 4wd it should move. Cheers R.
  11. that actually really makes me want to put a first gen impy dash in my brat..... hmmmmmm the wheels in my head keep on turning:banana: Cheers R.
  12. Put it in 4wd and try to move it if it moves you lost a front axle. Another way is to put it in gear apply e break with engine running get out and look at both front axles FROM UNDER THE HOOD DO NOT LOOK UNDER THE CAR woulnt wnat it to catch and run you over anyways the broken one will be spinning. happened to me twice on my old ea81 and with the lift that is on that coupe i bet you lost an axle. Cheers R.
  13. it's so beautiful Cheers R.
  14. take it to a shop... trust me such a pain to get it all out glass everywhere Cheers R.
  15. Best thing would be to find a car of the same year any model GL10 i assume it is ea82 i didn't know they made the GL10 in a FWD anyways years 1985-93 of the body style will work for your running gear needs. wagon coupe or sedan they all use the same floor pan so all the running gear will work. Lift kits there are a few people on here that make them a 3 inch should be no problem and you can depending on your skill level make a simple 3 inch at home. The search function here is a wonderful option and many answers can be had by using it. Cheers R.
  16. the kit allows you to put the 5 speed in an ea81 car and keep the interior looking stock with the 4wd shifter and console so its not all frankenstined together. very worth it i used it in my old hatch. Cheers R.
  17. with skill and fiberglass anything can fit. Cheers R.
  18. went and test fit the BMC and it fits in the stock location perfect it is tight but the turbo wont touch it Cheers R.
  19. i would source an easy out set and a battery powered drill thats your best bet. maybe wing by a wrecking yard and get an idler pulley and bolt. Cheers R.
  20. Hey nice looking brat not sure if you are looking for floor boards anymore but i am parting out a brat and it has rust free clean floor boards i am going to be cutting out a bunch of body panels for other members here in the next few days so let me know. Cheers R.
