Hey guys i was just wondering if anyone knows a remedy to fix the 1 speed on the little control knob for your GL DL and such Blowerfan! Mines out and i wana know if its an easy fix or not?

Ive also heard of (dont quote me on this) Spraymetal! You send in your cams and they'll spray on a metal like crome of molybdnam or whatever and they somehow get an equal spray on the cams... dont ask me how? I really dont trust it but then again, i dont know much about it!

Or you could (if you like welding like me! ) just weld up a little cylinder shape or triangular box, fill it with Steel wool and "MAKE SURE" you put a drain on it to drain the oil. you can route all of your crankcase breathers everything through that then to the intake! my bro in law did that on his RS just a suggestion

Hey i am the one who bought russes old wagon and it died on me 2... if you can or even want to take off the distributor and see if the gear is spinning if not pull off the driverside cover and see if the timingbelt is even broken. On mine the tensioner broke so im replacing both tensioners and belts! to test the tensioner you can (highly not recommended) take a screwdriver or somithing have someone crank it and apply pressure to the belt. Be careful though dont wana puncha hole in you! ( i didnt read the posts before sorry for the uneeded info)

i dont know if anyone said this but... if it was running rich it would be black smoke and also question for you? whats your oil condition? does it smell or feel funny?

yeah ive heard that the webers for it are sweet... and they eliminate all of those annoying and confusing Vaccum lines that go EVERYWARE!

Ive noticed in my own project doings with my bro in law that almost anything from the new Gen EJ to New Gen with bolt up and anything from the Old Gen EA to old Gen will bolt up with exceptions to most of the rear diffs because they are usually interchangable.
