Uhhhh..... i hope i have my roo back on line in 4 months..hehe just kidding itl be runnin this weekend.... i cant give a definate answer but... i may be willing to comeup..... assuming i have money after fixing this thing is there a definate meeting place??? if its too far than ill have to pass it up but... i dont know... talk to me in 3mo and3weeks hehe... Procrastanation!!!
  2. Ok thanks... uh but upon more reading.... i fooled around with it and it wont fire at all... so what i think we did was...haha.....aligned the cams both facing up... hehe... soooo... until next weekend when we get it all sorted out!

Ok we installed timing belts correctly and and lined up the Cams correctly I AM POSITIVE... heres what i want to know... is cylinder No.1's TDC mark on the flywheel different from the camshaft timing marks on the flywheel??? If you guys have anypictures or diagrams they would be greatly appriciated
  8. Oh yeah... about that.... make sure that you get the wires correct for the dimmer..... we messed it up once and the guages get brighter when the dimmer is turned down... hehe

  10. the Fiat had tracks... comeone offroad nuts... you know u wana do it to your subie And also... i understand why your hatch got stuck after seeing that big puddle of water... Its a car.. not a boat.... (not saying anything mean.. after reading it i thought thats what it sounded like...)
  11. i have another idea..... Make my Gl-10 a badass street sweeper... Only... mine would actually clean the street... not spread the crap around a little!

  13. the best place... if at all posible... would be through the firewall (ofcourse) but im talking through the little rubber plugs like... where factory wires go... or even... if you see a plug that doesnt have a place to put a wire through.. but its in the perfect location... then you can always cut a X through it and slide the wire through!!!
  14. exactly... plus these timing belts were Goodyear pieces of!@#$%^&*(()+... so i got factory belts from Japan.... they smell like good quality.... compared to aftermarket..... so i buy factory parts when its something as important as timing!!! Re-man is nice because of there guarentee and all but.... if it does break then... i have to take everything back off again and take it in to get another piece of crap.... i hate doing things twice in a row!!!
  15. Yeah... tomarrow im going to napa to buy a new one.... and a gasket... and some brake cleaner.... and some coolant.... and maybe a new radiator(got a end tank leak)..... and.... something ill see when i walk in... hehe

Okay we dissasembeld the mess of an engine compartment and found that my drivers side belt has been being soaked with coolant!!! and yes... coolent and rubber DO NOT MIX.... so i dried out my belt and.... striped a bunch of teeth out of it.... so.... i am feeling a lot better!!! hope to have her runnin by Tomarrow night... im so happy

  22. Why would people find it derogatory??? all i said was that the japanese are the only ones who can build a desent car.... people should think highly of japs...i know i do..... (no one said that the germans were smart.....just good engineres!)
