its also detremental to emissions... your car is designed to operate at a certain temp... so it burns properly... youll have poor power, and fuel economy because of it. But i live in arizona... anything will overheat down here if you let it!!!

That why you pump it up to like 30lbs hehehehe.....itl stay cool and your lag will mean somthing!!! oh hears a tip... those cheap intercoolers on ebay with those amazing flow ratings.. yeah theres a reason pricy intercoolers dont have those ratings... it sounds goofy but there are things called turbulaters (probbably spelled it wrong) they are like little fingers in the Core that stir up the air as it goes through there... heres an example>>>> if you take the thermostat out of a car then it will over heat.. why? you all know this but... the water will be moving too fast in the radiator to cool of... so same principle... sorry for the non help...just wanted to insert some cool info to those new to turbines! OH YEAH feel really grateful!! My AC bracket has like 9 freaking bolts holding it in AHH ITS SO ANNOYINg... yess if you have mechanical skill... even tapeing somthing on... you can figure this out... take out the bolts on the left and right covers and the center one will stay on... (gotta remove the pully for that one) I dont think hesitation will be any indication that there going... there kinda a silent killer! My car about 2 mo ago... died at a stoplight... the light turned green... i put it in gear let out the clutch and i wasnt moving... i though i must of stalled it... crankitycrank WONT START.... you get the idea AND NO DONT LET A SHOP WORK ON YOUR SUBIE!!!! Waste of money for somthing like this... if the belts are the issue! then once youve got the parts (may want to replace tensioners evin if they didnt fail, i did.) it shouldnt take more than a weekend if your lazy then itl take 2! Vacuum lines do get pressurized with boost> how do you think your boost gauge works? ... they dont get it from the intercooler though. Just capem of... you dont need them! Either weld somthin or shove a bolt in it or get bullet caps for the lines!

Take off the two covers on the left and right of the engine!!! really you will only need to takeoff the left side (using Drivers side as left) if thats not off broken check the tension and see if its tight... i dont mean Super stiff but make sure that it wont flap around... while the cover is off have a buddy crank it for you and makesure that its moving! Do you hear your fuelpump??? tell your buddy to either crank it or cycle the key on and off while you lay under the car listening to the pump... if you cant hear it put your hand on it and try to feel it vibrate... and if you really want to test it.. take off a fuel line and cycle the key and see if it squirts out! PHEW im tired!

Yeah they shouldnt do a sniff test becuase that would require a fourwheel dyno... so just say.... "unless you want to buy me a new drivetrain i suggest you dont test it!" Thats all i Should of done with my Gl-10 but i Stupidly told them that It was 4wd instead of AWD oh well.... next time!!!

I think that you should either make your own exhaust and mabey even your own muffler!! yes people do it... and as for size i think anything over 3 is way too big for this little engine! 3 is pushing it! hope it helps good luck!
