  1. What else we got. MILEAGE UPDATES. GOOOOO
  2. UPDATE! Car has New transmission in it. 2 weeks later. Car catches on fire today and burns engine compartment. Car going to wrecker sometime soon. Hate my subaru life!!!!!!! At least its out of my hair now. Even if it burned some of it off.
  3. Wow this thread is alive again! Mines still got the same since last posting.... Sitting on jackstands. Either I fix it or it goes bye bye here in a few months
  4. Whered you get those bushings? And did you get 2 sets inorder to add that spacing?
  5. Custom Transmission mounts... Check. Painted... Check... Rear Diff..... not yet, Custom Drive Shaft... Not done yet... Custom Shift linkage... im afraid to begin... Some day, it will move again.
  6. Cool. Well mine hasnt moved an inch, but its getting close. I should make my self a thread called "how long can your Gl-10 move without catastrophically breaking something all of a sudden for no reason, with no indication of impending failure."
  7. One super overkill solid transmission mount done, just have to weld the other one up, paint them, and then! have a drive shaft made. and then! Get a new rear diff, And then! figure out why my right front ball joint wont come undone! and then Put the wheels and tires on it, And THEN Re work the intercooler setup on it, And THEN and only THEN can I drive it around, but not before it gets a new set of tires.
  8. HAha AHHAHAh AHAHAAHAHAHHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! (pee wee hermin laugh) Guess what, I got my car down here, then got it licensed and GUESS WHAT! Same thing happened to me, timing belt failed.... Just got my license, stuck in a turn lane in a busy intersection about 20 feet from my house.
  9. Just be careful about all the vacuum lines. We can have an EJ out in half an hour to an hour, but these ea-82t's have dumb 80's emission technology, makes them take a bit longer.
  10. I think, at minimum you should pull the engine, because to fix it, it has to be out, and to put a new one in, it has to be out :-p
  11. Anything is possible. But you think only one side overheated?
  12. Remember, this isnt a bolt out and bolt in and go type deal if you are going to a different engine.
  13. 383 V8 Nice. Or.... Flat 6 or a busa motor/tranny combo. More hp and better transmission!!!! except for the reverse part
  14. People are jerks... I wish I could catch someone in the act and slice off their fingers. The Toybota had its rear wheel center caps taken... thats 70 bucks... I hate people. Time to drop the nuke?
  15. Yes they are troublesome. If you want it to stay fixable, dont mod it too much. Maybe put an intercooler on it, but dont up the boost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I walked out into the garage and looked at it. Then walked back inside.
  17. Or a funnel into the intake and a passenger with washer fluid :-p
  18. Windshield Washer Fluid FTW. Ive debated about doing this on my car... but with my driving habbits, I would need to have a 55gallon drum in the back of the car.
  19. Ahem, This calls for a huge austin powers "neeerrrrdddd alerrrttt"
  20. Oh thats better, that makes lots more sense! Yet somehow I feel cheated.... My car came with the "break after every fix" option. It never fails either.
  21. You are correct, they are pretty close to standard size, at least by my eye. I had the stock GL 4wd steel wagon wheels, next to my pugs, and they were pretty simmilar in overall size.
