  1. Ahem, This calls for a huge austin powers "neeerrrrdddd alerrrttt"
  2. Oh thats better, that makes lots more sense! Yet somehow I feel cheated.... My car came with the "break after every fix" option. It never fails either.
  3. You are correct, they are pretty close to standard size, at least by my eye. I had the stock GL 4wd steel wagon wheels, next to my pugs, and they were pretty simmilar in overall size.
  4. ha ha, No not that bad. But it doesnt want to close unless I push on the top, I need to find new clips. Oh I guess I should get it running first.
  5. I gots my tranny semi Bolted in. Now to make tranny mounts, have a drive shaft made, and put in a new rear diff.
  6. The pinion in my front diff shattered, for no aparent reason. I was just driving down the road and BANG pop pop pop. 266k on the tranny. it should be just getting broken in.
  7. Diamond Edition? Was that really real? Because the only one I saw was riced OUT
  8. I give you 100 bucks for it Plus my broken GL-10, its an offer that you cant refuse!
  9. Finished sealing the Franken Tranny... Dont think it will work, but nothing else ever goes right, so why not try it.
  10. I wish my GL-10 ran as smooth as yours In other news... The TWE header does make a difference in spoolup, however... it also sandwiches against my power steering.. which is NOT GOOD.
  11. The wheels in my size will fit just fine. I am having rubbing issues on the front only when I go over a speedbump weird, but thats because my front springs are sagging a tiny bit, and the wheelwell plastic is starting to fall off. old piece of poo... Why do I love you?
  12. Right now, the car is in pieces, but if I can remember, ill snap another photo of it once its back on the road... if that ever happens Obviously this is a wagon not a sedan, but a wagon is a sedan with more glass Hope it gives you an idea EDIT: Hot Damn, look at that shine Oh and dont mind the cat in the lower left... that errr, is on the car always...
  13. If they are all 15s then they shouldnt make a difference. I have 205/50R15s on my car, and I like the fit.
  14. Is this the same for a gl-10s digi dash?
  15. If your really serious about power. Why not try and go standalone? so far my car is running on one and its doing good. Errr, well until the transmission decided to shatter its pinion for no good reason. Ive about had it with the ea-82t, I sense a GC in my hands in the future My car had stuff already done to it, WRX intercooler, and WRX turbo, when I first got it, I went boost happy and decided to up the boost, car ran great for about 4 weeks, then blew exhaust gaskets. I said no prob, then every stud pulled from the head. At the same time, the wonderful 80s sensor issues that every late 80s car will have, started happening to me, so I slammed an ms2v3 in it, and I am happy so far. I havent had the best of luck with my car. It is a clean body for its age, but the powerplant is giving me nightmares. Oh yeah, and I have a Techworks oldschool header, and ebay wrx downpipe. Did I help you at all, probably not, but its been a while since Ive typed anything long If I were you, I would go get maximum boost my Corky Bell, by far the best forced induction book you will ever read, it will open your eyes from seeing what they do on fast and the furious, to "oh this is how you have to do it". You can make ANYTHING fast, its just a question on how long. Rally Russ was quoted by... the name escapes me, but it was something like 900 bucsk 4 years ago for me to have forged pistons made for it, so I abandoned the idea. Anyways, dont leave, I like to lurk around here, and chime in when I know about the subject. If you want to ride in a real fast subaru, come down here, Merkatroid's rs will be running soon... you wana talk about a fast car
  16. Mines lowered slightly, not slammed by anymeans, and this picture is probably massive so, sorry if it is. I cant remember if I posted in this or not
  17. GL-10 Turbo Wagon... That is a word defined by satan! I hate mine, but I also love it, and mine is sitting on jackstands right now too, figuring out how to put my tranny back together. Your not alone!
  18. So, Ive just read it all, but, have we found the solution for the rear disks? Like my 87 GL-10 Turbo rear disks?
  19. Ha ha, fertalizer resistant. We have that stuff down here too, ive heard its alright. I just use the plain old coastal, because its heat range is better than mobil 1's... I love mobil 1 :-\
  20. I dont mean to start anything, but theres alot of high po engines, that have the coolant go into the head first, then into the block. Always check first.
