you better not feel guilty for talking about 510s There one badass little car that "could" refering to how they cleaned house back on the racetrack! I think that you should either make your own exhaust and mabey even your own muffler!! yes people do it... and as for size i think anything over 3 is way too big for this little engine! 3 is pushing it! hope it helps good luck!

yeah and plumbing fittings are NOT! a good substitute for silicone bends... no offense people who use them... water and air are 2 different things! but!!! They are an excellent way to see if your idea will work and are good for a few test runs... basicly what im sayin is use abs or pvc to mock it up and test it but... step up to the plate and buy quality after you makesure it works good! -

I know your not! I think people should just pay attention to there vehicals maintenence and check belts everyoil change or something like that, you know, routine! and replace them when anysigns of wear showup! and i mean ANY, but i know belt dressing is definately a getby and has saved many people but it still SHOULD NEVER BE USED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR WHAT A NEW BELT COULD FIX! and sure you guys can make fun of my age but im the one of the only 16year olds whose not afraid to display it and contend with the oldfarts of this website! Daeron you were using it when you were around 10... haha i think not! -

Can you describe the noise??????? because people have no idea what its doing unless you give us some details... like hehe does is WHRRRRR or FHMMMMM or SPUTPUT OR AOHFJOAUIHOF ok so the lastone i made up but really can you describe what it sounds similar to ... also does this only hapon when you fire it up? -
Now all you need is some monsterus lights below it and above it!
-
I know i know i know... i ment when i put it in test mode and then time it to 20 Btdc it idles great... i dont drive with them connected... i didnt know that i had to use them before i first timed it.... until i finaly looked around on here!!! i disconnect them after i time it and she runs real nice now GOT MY CAR BACK YAY
-
Yeah sounds like its running reall really rich if you can notice the smoke... not just on the pipe but in the air behind you... HOLY CRAP MAN! if it dogged down before it that would be a tell-tale sign that it dumped too much fuel in right before!
-
Dont you know the manrule? BIGGER IS BETTER hehehe... wait im running a 1.8....... nevermind
-
Its not knocking... and im not gonna pump up the boost with it running at 30 ill definately put it backdown to 20! I listend very carefully for knock for a verylong time! and im going to put it backdown to 20 today because it idles properly at 20 when i plug in the connector!
-
Okay i know im retarded but thats beside the point......... ahem...... I was just wondering if anyone knows from reading it on here or somewhere else or from personal expierience, how much boost people were pushing with there Ea 82T and what there timing was.... rightnow im running stock but since i desired more power... for the time being... i advanced the timing to about 30 degrees BTDC........... and how happy that people were with there newfound power... remember i am intercooledand have a bigger turbo that stock (wrx, its almost 2 big to spool) im planning on retarding the timing with the new boost so, dont worry, im not retarded in terms of the words engine and BOOM! :burnout:

Someone should seriously post a detailed section of this in the usrm!!!!!!!!! i saw somthing in there but it isnt helpful AT ALL!!! thanks snow
-
ok i figured out the probelm... it has to do with me and my thirst for power... i have it at about 30 degrees btdc because when i timed it for 20 btdc it seemed gutless... it didnt have the push it did... so i put it on 30 and listend for knock and it runs reall good now... it idles a little high... so what! MORE POWER!!!!!!!!
-
yeah the stickons are thebest.... i stupid mag weights... they look so ugly!

Wait... a fusible link is ment to break... how would copper break... unless your talking really really really and i mean REALLY thin.... -
Thanks.. the CEL comes on and off because i connect it while its running... i guess the ecu doesnt like that verymuch... i was just dinkering around... after i set the timing do it disconnect the wires before or after i shut the car off.

  Okay guys shes back on the road.... i cant get her to idle right.... i know somthing about the green connectors under the dash but.. i dont know the proper procedure.... can anyone help me????? ive got a timing light and im ready to try everything... ive just been out playing with the connector by connecting and disconnecting it at different times but im still stumped.. sometime the CEL flashes sometimes it comes on and then goes away... help me!!!!!
