it matters to me... when i pull up to a stop light in my 400 horsepower 87 subaru GL wagon:lol: . and have the fellow STI rev at me... i would want him to hear AND feel the 400 horses. there IS a bigger sound with more HP... theres no point in having HP if you can hear it (in my opinion). even if its my ea82... its gotta sound mean (Not Like A Ricer:-\ , like subaru muscle:headbang: ) alot of you guys doubt the engines:( only if you coulda drove my brat... it would bring open your eyes:lol:

if im gonna do a EJ swap it would be a spendy one 300 HP+.. none of this 150 HP junk:lol: IF i do it wont be till i get another RU

is the switch from F/I to carb easy? i want that weber.. it looks mean and is outlaw'd in cali cause of its emissions and snappy responce. "for use with racing and of road, not street use:grin: " my flywheel seems really heavy...

(87 lifted wagon) what do you recomend or what have you done? im making my own intake and buying a new fuel system. im thinkin about keepin it FI. But Weber/Redline have some mean race carbs. im not much of a turbo guy i like raw performance and a deep roar:headbang: are there other really good mods? even if it helps just a little bit... cams, coils, yada yada. simple stuff for now. Until i do the rebuild:grin:

noboday seems to have decent pugs for sale, so im goin to 410 toyota and grabbin a set of 15'' steelies for my 27's... i need to dril the rims out tho, thing is i dont have a drill press/ tools to do it. can anyone do it?

how do i find a GT steering wheel for my 87 that will fit? what about racing/bucket seats (with sholder straps) wil any bolt up or do i need to make adapters? Project RALYRU (rally ru, thats how it will look on my plates:headbang: ) has started...

mine does that too sometimes... im told its just worn out and 'bushing' need to be replaced.. i dunno yet tho. i have yet to rebuild a tranny:headbang:

do any of you go out weekly? when my brat was runin i took it up to green water weekly. and to the black diamond trails every other day... so i wanted to know if any of you would like to meet up and do some get to knowin of each other but more importantly do some wheelin... i got my Craftsman mechanics tool set 3 days ago so im ready for some modin once i get my wheelin ru.

well you can take a pair of the cool blue and black wrx seats or any other seats and mount the stock brat rails to the new seats. if you are good you can bolt em on. if you want it fast then weld/fab. up some adapters... pretty simple. i almost did it brfoe i got kicked out, only thing is, i was using 91 grand am bucket seats.

dude if you have a friend that owns a shop.. get the parts made... new lightweight everything. cool air intake high flow turbo and exhaust.. you can make stuff you just gotta have $500 to play with... make it happen...

i need a peice of linkage. it connects the secondary pump to the chokebulb. does anyone have this litte part? (for a 86 GL sedan carb)
