ellensburg area?
Going up the end of Reecer creek road is pretty fun stuff. I was up there with a couple of friends today, and we spent a good 4 hours drivin around. We would have gone further up, but we ran into big snow piles blocking the road. I'm sure in a couple of months it'll be clear. As for cook canyon, I haven't been up there for about 5 years, I went with my dad once in the summer, and once in the winter on snowmobiles, and I was impressed with the canyon. I'm hoping to get some friends together and taking an all day trip up there. I haven't been in the hills south of e-burg except for once, and I only went about 6 miles up manastash to a friends cabin.

Hopefully my first 4wd Sube!
Well, that plan didn't work. The guy wanted cash only, which I had none of But on another note, I talked to a guy who has 4 subes for sale, which might work out better cause payday's coming up!

Hopefully my first 4wd Sube!
He says the engine in it is seized up, but he has another engine in the back to put in it. I'm hoping that he'll let the good engine go with the car, so that way I can have a friend help me tow it back to the dealership I work at, drop in the good motor, and have a running, 4wd for only an xbox!

Hopefully my first 4wd Sube!
I saw an ad in craigslist for a "subaru sedan 2door 4wd needs engine moving must sell ugly 4wdrive works great". They only want $300 for it, but after talking with them today, we might work out a trade for my ps2 and xbox! Which is fine with me, cause I never play them anymore. I'm excited, because I'll finally have a 4wd fixer-upper! Oh, and, correct me if I'm wrong, but arent sedans 4-door?

Not sure what to do
My Mom's doesnt have ac, its a 2 door, and has a manual trans. I'm leaning towards it because IMO, it's worth the $900 because in the 3 years shes owned it, other than routine maintenance, the things shes had to have done to it is a tune up, and have a new radiator installed. Other than that, its ran like a champ.

Not sure what to do
My budget is kinda slim, cause on top of rent, I'm paying my parents back the 5 or so grand I owe them My Justys a 5 speed, and fwd. This summer I want to put 4wd into it, and possibly lift it a couple inches, that's why Im not going to put any money into it now, so I can save up for the Blazer.

Too high of a price?
I wasn't planning on buying either of them, I just thought they were overpriced and wanted to see what other people think. GeneralDisorder, it's a 5 speed, but its only a fwd. Sorry, but I'm not gonna let it go, I'm going to turn it into a project this summer.

Too high of a price?
Every day on my way to and from work, I pass a wholesale car lot. About a week ago, I spotted two 87 or 88 wagons and today I decided to stop and look at them. No one was there, so I couldn't ask any questions about them. The maroon one has ~268,000 on it, the windshield is spidered, the interior reeks of wet dog, and there is garbage and hair all over the floor, and the price is $888. The blue one has ~350,000 on it, and the interiors pretty clean, it almost looks like it was detailed recently. The price on this one is $1888. It almost seems kinda high, with over 350,000 miles on it, ya?

Not sure what to do
Over the past week, I've had a tough time deciding what I should do. The only car I have right now is an 88 Justy, which is currently not going anywhere (no exhaust, vacuum leaks, 3 flat tires, no radiator fan). My options are: save up $900 and buy my Mom's 86 Blazer, which has no problems except for a couple oil leaks, or save up some money and buy another Soob. I've been leaning toward the Blazer cause my Mom has had it for 3 years and never had a problem with it. So what should I do?

fwd to 4wd?
So you're saying I could take the entire driveline out of a 4wd and stick it under my fwd without little (if any) modifications?
-
fwd to 4wd?
I have a fwd 88 Justy, and I was wondering, if I had a donor Justy with 4wd, could I take the drivetrain out of the 4wd and put it into my fwd?

Justy motor swap
I have an 88 Justy, fwd, with the 1.2l motor and a 5 speed. I only spent $150 on it, and it's in pretty good condition, except for the minor oil leak. The guy I bought it from had a new clutch put in less than 1,500 miles ago. It started runny crappy, so I decided to park it and drive my other car. The Justy's been sitting in the orchard for about 3 weeks, and I decided I wanted to turn it into a project car. I was wondering what I should do, and I was thinking I'd try to drop a turbocharged 4 cylinder motor and/or tranny from another subaru of a similar year. I was also thinking if it wouldnt be too hard, to try and convert it into 4wd. Which, if any, turboed motors/trannys could I drop in? Is it even possible to upgrade to a 4 cylinder?
