  1. K, let me know, the junkyard keeps telling me "next week", which is getting kinda annoying
  2. Maybe sometime we'll have to meet up, I really want to see your coupe! Lol, I didnt know he worked at the dealer down there, I was googling dealerships for corvallis and john and phils came up, and I was thinking about turning in a resume there.
  3. It's too bad you need cars that are 81 and older, I've got an 83 wagon with no engine that I need gone by the end of the month....
  4. I'm moving down to Corvallis sometime in the first weekend of April, and I'd like to meet some of the local board members. Anyone want to meet up sometime?
  5. I dont suppose you have a pic of the carnage?
  6. That would be awesome! And it sure looks good with those enkies on there
  7. Here's my reply. Do I win?
  8. I think they're 4wd, if theres an orange button on top of the shifter, then its 4wd. It should be fuel injected, mpfi iirc. I havent heard much good about justys, except for the mileage, and from what I hear, to work on either the water pump or oil pump is a pain in the rump roast. Good luck to you if you decide to buy it.
  9. Are you still looking for someone Scott?
  10. Its probably because the torque was getting sent to the wheels all at once, like if it was a 5-speed. Thats the only thing I can think of...
  11. Oops, I guess I shouldve thought about that. My bad.
  12. Snagging a used y-pipe from a junkyard would probably be your cheapest option, either that or pick one up from someone on the board
  13. Whats your temp gauge doing when the heater gets cold? It sounds like it could be a plugged heater core. It wouldn't hurt to disconnect one of the lines and flush it out.
  14. I'm guessing Jerry will confirm this, but IIRC he said it was a 1916 dodge.
  15. Wouldn't your hatchback have a pushrod engine in it?
  16. Cars I own: 83 dl wagon, soon to be going to subaruguru 85 dl wagon, fixin it up to be my dd 89 dl coupe, ignored leaky intake gasket, ended up losing all the water and blowing hg's, seriously considering parting it because I only paid 200 for it and its a fwd 3at Cars I've owned: 91 escort wagon, trans went out, junkyarded it 86 nissan 4x4 pickup, put it in a ditch, bent the driver's side a-arms, sold it but never got paid, grrr 84 buick regal, took a turn too fast and ended up in a pond, junkyarded it 88 justy, progressively ran crappier, junkyarded it, wish I would've kept it 95 vw jetta, not paying attention in the fog during a curve, went into a ditch, and thru a fence, junkyarded it:
  17. Thats more motivation to get my soob goin, I can't wait for them snow wheelin trips. Great pics guys
  18. Dangit, if you weren't so far away, I'd love to work for you.
  19. Is the very first car a justy? It's funny when they sink it, when the guy hits the wipers
  20. Like I said before, it's gonna be on microsoft powerpoint, and I'm not even sure which version I'm going to use. I've got office 2000 on my computer, and iirc, my dad's using office 2002. I'm sure that the files from 2000 would open with 2002 no problem, I'm just gonna have to see. And it might be at least a month before I get it done, as I don't have a ton of time.
  21. I'm not a huge fan of the new subarus, but I don't have anything bad to say about them. Congrats Connie Is it just me, or does this vaguely remind anyone else of a taurus wagon:confused:
