  1. If it does have the lsd and rear discs, then it's worth the $200
  2. +1 That's the way I look at it, because even tho it might be on a frame from a completely different vehicle, there's still the work of making everything inside the body work (steering, wiring, etc.)
  3. Yesterday, I went with Robbie and pulled a complete set of struts, a radiator, headlights, a grill, and gas shocks for the rear hatch. And today I went and picked up my spare rear diff & mustache bar, and my 6 lug pathfinder rims. It's slowly coming together!
  4. About the dual range, there's another board memeber who's got dibs on it first, but if that falls thru, I'll let you know and we can arrange something.

  5. I need to replace the driver side front bearings in my wagon, again But I guess thats what happens when you use parts that have been out in the weather :-p
  6. Thanks again to the staff for an awesome show! Can't wait until next year
  7. I suppose it could be valve guides, I'm only going off what I've heard from the p.o. and a friend of mine who works at a shop. During normal driving it burns oil, just not enough to see it coming out of the tailpipe. If it sits and idles for awhile, when I start to drive away it leaves a nice cloud of smoke. It's really noticeable when I accelerate hard, it'll leave a trail of smoke.
  8. At least a quart a week, sometimes more. I know I'm going to need to do something major (engine swap or piston rings) soon, I just can't afford it yet. In the meantime, is there anything I can do to reduce the amount of oil being burned, or am I just going to have to deal with it?
  9. Well, the gauges (I have 2 sets) are from 85 and 86, but my car is an 87.
  10. Does anyone have or know where I can get (for free) a wiring diagram for a digidash?
  11. And I found this on craigslist, would it be worth buying? How hard would it be to replace the canvas?
  12. I swapped out a knuckle with better bearings on the driver's side front, so no more grinding! (thanks again Bill) Oh, and earlier that day I did this: And today I changed the burned out back-up bulb and license plate bulbs.
  13. So anyway, I was going to start with the swap today, but I found out that my work crew is going to be heading to Rhode Island for 30 days to help fight the flooding (news story). So if I don't reply to anyone for awhile, that's where I'll be hatchsub: I thought they might be, but thanks for confirming Sonicfrog: I might take you up on that, it'll have to be when I get back ivantruckman: I did, but when I was pulling parts from the it, I didn't have access to an impact, and I didn't have a breaker bar
  14. Later today, after work, I'm going to start swapping a 5 speed d/r into my wagon (87 GL). But before I tear into it, I was wondering, are the flexplate bolts long enough to use on the flywheel?
  15. I paid $250, but that included the rest of the parts car
  16. I'll definately be there. Any other eastsiders want to convoy over blewett?
  17. After some searching, I think I found the bearings I need. But I'm wondering, is this price to good to be true? Is Precision a good brand? http://www.wheelbearingwarehouse.com/item.wws?sku=207&itempk=356847&mfr=PRECISION&weight=1
  18. Ok, now I'm officially jealous. I need to build up a wagon so I can go on a run with you guys!
  19. Thats pretty sweet looking, especially with the sunroof. I used to have an '87 fwd, but unfortunately it died on me Its good to see another Justy still out there!
  20. I still have it but I haven't had a chance to grab those parts off of it. I'll take a look on friday and pm you when I get them pulled
