I'm hopeing to do just that I got 4 local resturants to give me oil I just need to swap my truck for a diesel tow truck. It's a good truck but not for what I need it for. Hatch might have to go to. Sucks but such is life right.

Yeah I'm looking to sell and buy or trade my GMC for something better suited to towing a horse trailer up and down the mountain. The hatch ain't gonna cut it and nither is the 6" lift 35" tire shortbed GMC. Has to be some pics out there of someone pulling a horse behind a subbie tho

Ok let's hear horror tales and funny ones. Heaviest load pulled with a sobbie? I think they are the most versitile car on the planet but I wouldn't throw a horse behind one, but I bet someone has! Pics of your tow rig?
  6. I will have to post pictures of the axle puller/installer that Supernova built it is a tru piece of art. Axle nut welded to a plate and a piece of plumbing pipe and a long threaded rod. It is really something ealse and functional as all heck.
  7. There is a local MX guy has a one ton chevy van total rhino liner coverage looks killer. you can buy the spray kit and do it yourself and I 2nd that surface prep and prep work is 99% of the job
  8. great footage! Also a good look at some pushbar design...
  9. There is an alot of ea's being used in ultralight and experimental planes thoose guys love em so I'm guessing it's going to be a long time before we can't find parts for them. And yes worth it and yes I have one and it's a goodun' It's a Subaru Love thing
  10. Anyone running both on a ea81 SPFI motor? post pics and sugestions?
  11. Yeah I had to get it down the road, I have the rod stock just got to get it done during the week. As far as the coil and air cleaner we will have to refer to Supernova, it has been like that since I got my hands on it. Maybe I can con him into signing on and chimeing in on that.
  12. I hit em with Jasco and wire brush first then run them over with some super clean and blast cabinet(commercial at buddys place) then do any metal work fix cracks coat of self etching primer before Omni sigle stage urethane color finish coat. I have some pics of most recent finished product. whole proccess can be done in a day but if your all set up 5 or 6 hours maybe. I wouldn't want to think about what I would have to charge to do it for someone ealse tho problly only worth it on your own soobie. It's a Subaru Love thing!
  13. Just wanted to show off the wheels had to pull one and weld up a crack so decided to blast and spray all of em. Stuck with Subaru and got Java black. reset rear suspension so dropped everything out and rubber coated and bed liner sprayed all the parts. need to make some exhaust hangers bodywork and paint and interior includeing genuine Subaru 6 disc changer and premium sound(out of my 03 wrx). SPFI ea81 swap I helped supernova put together but I can't thank him enough for selling me the car. Will post more pics later on in build. http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m225/bgh831/hatch004.jpg http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m225/bgh831/hatch001.jpg http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m225/bgh831/hatch002.jpg http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m225/bgh831/hatch003.jpg http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m225/bgh831/hatch006.jpg
  14. The big nut on end of main shaft requires a socket it has rounded corners that make it difficult. Take shaft to local dealer if they are A class like the guys at Subaru Santa cruz they will crack it loose for nothing then you just need a press.
  15. Any of the brackets or hoses?
