  1. Just want to see what others are using for the Transmission and Rear Diff Fluid.Brand and weight Want to change mine in the RX but am not sure what to use. TIA
  2. Cleaned all the crud off the rear diff and it is a LSD.
  3. So my 87 Turbo RX should be LSD.
  4. Thanks Guys,Ill check the rear Diff tag and if its not there ill try with the rears off the ground. What Models and years came with the LSD?
  5. How do you know if the rear is a LSD or Not?
  6. I probally should have started my own thread but this one seem to get out of hand on that subject Back to the originally scheduled program.
  7. In the ON position it is fine.In the Off position is when it binds when turning. Where are these solenoids and if i switch the vacuum lines will that change when the light is on?
  8. Thats why i leave it in the ON position which is actually Off. Any ideas on what it might be or should i just check the wiring?
  9. Great Thanks Junkie Another quick ? My diff lock switch is in the On position but the light is not on.When i move it to the Off position the dash light comes on
  10. Thats a good looking RX When is the 4WD light supposed to light up?Ive never seen mine and didnt even know there was one. LOL Ive only seen the green turbo light and the Diff Lock Light and thats it.
  11. Where is the stock fuel pump?
  12. Does the Walbro 255 for the WRX fit the EA82T gas tank in a 87 RX? I might upgrade now just to see if that cures the problem.Plus i wanted a better fuel pump anyways.

  17. Can the dash and interior pieces be painted and what is a good paint to use? I know the plastic pieces can be painted but im not sure about the soft dash pieces. My interior could use some new life to its color.

Well i finally got all the tune up parts done.I did them in stages to see what was actually causing the sputtering. 1st stage Spark plugs Autolites #63 /cleaned Maf No change 2nd stage Spark plug wires No change 3rd stage Cap and rotor No more sputtering :grin: Turned out to be the cap and rotor causing it. Thanks for all the help guys :clap:
