Another thing i should add is, It does not make any other/worse noise when ice cold. So i don't think it's really serious. Still got to get the stuff done. I know it's easy. Even to re-time it is pretty easy. I've got Miles thread on both (Oil pump and Timing belts)

Huh, I guess i should have put more paint on them. They still look pretty good for now.

Well what about having a slight, I don't really want to call it a tick. but just a slight lifter sound. Will that wear them out too? And one other thing i've been wondering about was, (and i've done a search) Ok lets say i going to get up to 45mph and i slowly getting there (Not flooling it) And it's in 3rd and about 3500-4000rpm theres a sound on the drivers side that sounds like a very fast clatter. but if i let off the gas a little bit it go's away. Is that a lifter too.. And another way it happens is, if i'm doing about 10mph and feed the gas to about 1/4 of 1/2 throttle and it will shift to 1st and if i go up to 4000 it will do it too.. Is it not enough oil getting to that lifter? It's just vary hard to explane. I can't wait to get that oil pump done. And see a total diffrence!

Yeah 3 weeks off, Sounds like a good time to do it.. The paint's not peeling it just flaked off in 1 or 2 places. I might have had a peice of rust that diden't come off when i took a wire brush on a drill to them.. But the rest of the paint is fine? I should have used primer, But it's been on there for one winter so i think it's ok. Thank's for the tip! -Tom

Your pulling an engine with a broken hand.. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do. You should see my dad sometimes. He just does it anyway. Broken ribs, Major head ak, Nothing really bothers him.. And thinkmi was supossed to be "think I". My fingers are to big sometimes:lol:

Don't get me wrong. I do drive like an old man alot.. Some times doing 20 in a 25mph. But i'm not affraid to feed the gas to a limit.... And yep shes got A/C. But needs a recharge. No cold air.... I don't need it anyway. I'm a soob owner.. A man of the wilderness:lol:

I would too! My Wal-mart paint is chiping off:lol: I think it costs a pretty penny. Like a few hundred $$. I was thinking, If you repainted the wheels again and then after its dry add clear coat! Would that be dumb?

When did i ever say your a puss? I don't think anyones a puss:lol: I'm just saying i do go 30 in a 25mph. I don't go putt putt.. When i wanted to get up to 45 in a 30 i did 4000rpm only took 2-3 seconds. Strange!?

Hey i'm the same way. My car runs pretty good and everything is solid. And like you, I don't beat it but i don't baby it either. I drive the way a soob should be drivin. And i don't care about dents/dings i've got alot of them i just don't like rust so i fix that and keep it waxed and paint the underside/running gear ect... As long as my car runs good, No issues at all and no rust! I'm happy. So i'm not a puss that treats his car like a little baby.
