  1. Yeah that's cool!! And it does need just a little more like the guys said. Saying subaru on the back would really be good and yeah the old school WRC is a nice touch. I think you need one of a wagon too. I want one too!!
  2. Yeah i know the round hump looking cover your talking about. I'll change the fluid and see if it change's and if not i'll take a look at that governor valve and gears for any sort of wear... Thank's! Maybe a dumb question but what is the governor valve really for?
  3. Ooo! No i don't have any mistake issues like that. I know where the front diff dip stick is and i know the difrence. Just to make sure. In Wisconsin what is a good oil to use? 90-95w? Mine does not slip BTW, It just some times will be in 2nd from a rolling stop and then while feeding the gas for a sec it will shift to 1st. It's always smooth so i'll change the tranny oil this weekend. And see what happens.. And brand i should go with?
  4. No, But i've been thinking about it.. I'll do that then! Moble 1 gear oil hey, Okay! Thank's man:banana:
  5. That RED brake light is for a EA82 wagon.... it go's on the rear gate.
  6. To me the car is very capable of Trail rideing and easy off-roading.. Nothing to hard, Just injoying the outdoors and stuff. PS: A little tranny advice please, On the 3spd auto if i'm going 25-30mph it will shift to 3rd depending on how much gas you feed. Ok now if i'm coming to a rolling stop about 5mph and go to take off sometimes it's still in 2nd and then shifts to 1st. It's not hard shifting and is really shooth so is that normal? And the trans fluid smells fine so any ideas? Just wondering. -Tom
  7. It's not really a goal, I just like my L alot..
  8. I know. I'll see it turn 450,000 someday...
  9. finaly a pic for y'all.. It's blury!! Dunno why?, It's nice and clear on my computer.
  10. HAHA Yeah your right, Maybe he means the steering/struts still feel stiff and new.. Other then that i don't know what he means?
  11. Yeah i know it's just so the rear seats will lay flat when put down, But you can store things in there... maybe a AMP! Or some blankets! Tom.
  12. That is such a nice picture. The Buckster looks happy! And really looks good in the snow.. Tom
  13. Yeah i'm 5'11" and 204lbs and i could have gotten that axe thru something.. What a puss:lol: Dumb cowboys if you ask me. And for the record, It was a GL-10 wagon... It says GL on the rear gate door:) Stil a sad thing for any subaru to go thru.
  14. Wow that's alot of stuff!! Can you dit in ur car? Anyhoo i like the pics of your wagons.. The first one is so caked with snow:banana: Cool.. And as for the compartment under the rear seats, I never knew that untill a few months ago. I was messing around and saw this black strap so i pulled it and sure enough the seat came up!! So that's cool.. -Tom
  15. Alright thank's Mike! I just needed to hear that from you and Connie. -Tom
  16. I totaly agree with the 2008 STI and WRX.. That was the work of the Subaru gods:lol: I think we all should show Those basterds a thing or two:Flame: I still feel sad about how that GL was treated......
  17. I never drivin' in winter yet.. And i don't really have anything cool to show ya. Sorry.. -Tom
  18. Hey yeah it's ok. No worrys alright! Yeah if this site was not here i would not know about the oil pump/T-belts.. And i would have never met all the nice people on here. As for the tire chains we can't have those up here in Wisconsin. There illeagl. Dunno why, I guess there was to may reports of them flying off and such. So that's why i'm going to buy a foldable shovle in the rear..
  19. Yep +1. Like that guy say's in he's post on ther. (The car ran great but it was not road worthy) What's not road worthy?? Looks ok to me! It still bothers me... The subaru's gods are pissed now.
  20. Man that really gives me Rage!! There soo stupid! I beleave no soob should die. but the humain way to do it would taking it off-roading or sell it for parts to other soob owners.. That's the respectful way. STUPID KIDS!!!! Kind of makes me sad to see a EA82 treated like that... Pore GL -Tom
  21. Ok my definition of living like garbage? Is rat infested houses that are all taged up with gang signs and busted windows, And not being able to eat at all, Not having a car that runs nor having one with broke'en lights, windows, Gun shot holes, Can't take a shower.. Living in a cardboard box. that is what i think living like garbage is. I will never be like that.. Ever! No i don't think living in a trailer/mobile home is bad at all! Theres some really nice ones i've seen. I would live in one if i never married and had no kids, The only thing that kind of sucks is not having a garage. but i can deal with that. So i dident mean for the miss-understanding or to upset you man. Sorry. Best to get back to the topic before the mods or Admin shut this thread down ok. -Tom
