Spare wheel storage for Hatch??
darlingchip replied to SuBaRiNo's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
That is an awesome design. Going to show this post to my BF to get the tire off the roof:banana: Nice Job:clap: -
Sorry for the pressure Bucky. Trust me we are feeling the same way here trying to get the brat ready. We would love warmer weather. It always seems to be nice when you are at work and snowing when you get home. But maybe it will get it out of its system now and be really warm and nice for the car show:cool: Good luck with getting Rocky together. I can't wait to see him.

The poster look great. I'm sorry but I do have a few corrections... I guess I edit way tooo many papers at work. First Flyer: "BY REGISTERING UNDER THE CLUB NAME YOU HELP SECURE OUR TENT SUPPLIED BY THE EVENT FOR FREE" Second Flyer: Just needs some spaces after periods and commas. Oh yah you might want to consider putting the website on it so people can get to the right website (USMB). Just a suggestion. Graphic are good too. Nice job on the flyers. When you get them done I will post them up at work:banana:

Thanks for the effort of trying to cure me. I have been rolling my eyes at my boyfriend for 2 years now but now I understand why he is the way he is.... You know all excited whenever he sees a suby and others. My suby is a wagon. I do like the sedans better but I really couldn't be picky b/c the price was right. Of course I am not getting rid of my chevy truck. I love it tooo much!

Well I have been driving my BF Subaru Legacy wagon around for a couple of days. I thought I would be embarrassed to drive it around b/c of the customized modification that he has made on it, but I think its kind of fun to drive. I caught myself speeding a couple of time:rolleyes: Well my co-workers are picking on me about the car b/c of the tire on the roof and the fog lights. My response is usually "what is wrong with my hot rod car... I like it." The best comment I got was from one of the ladies husband asking her if she was going to ride in the subie and saying that she should probably wear a helmet. Well I may be embarrassed to drive in his subie but I do love the attention it gets. I hope my subie gets the same attention, which is coming real soon:headbang: I just thought I would share this story and see if anyone else has the same reactions from workers or other people.

Wow that video was impressive. I worked at a road rally once (EMT) but I never got to see any accidents. Just the aftermath of the cars in the parking lots crush. Fortunately there was no deaths. Locals didn't like the rally so it is no longer in our area anymore:-\ I wish is was. I loved looking at the cars. Sorry I wasn't a Subie fanatic then so I don't know how many were in the race or if any crashed.

Welcome to the board. I would love to go to australia:banana: How's the off roading there? -
My mom's '98 foster did the same thing. The guys at the subaru place said that she blew her head gasket and she had that all replaced. It still acts up on her once in a while. Unfortunately on the days that it is the coldest. Sorry I can't really help. I would love to hear what the real problem is though.

Dealing with Subaru Obsession

Thanks for the welcome ladies. This website has me hooked. I actually came to work today so that I can spend the day checking out this site (nobody is here on fridays). I noticed yesterday that I was spotting all subarus as they were driving by. Then I found myself hunting for a subaru for sale.....I guess I am becoming an addict. If I get a subaru....sorry when I get a subaru....I would like a Brat or something from the 80's era. -

How do I become Subie Savey?
darlingchip replied to darlingchip's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Thanks. This is great stuff. Im really excited. -
Well this is my third day on the Subaru board and I am finding myself becoming obsessed. It is now to the point where I am spending more time looking at this website than doing my work. I have also found that I don't know much about Subaru at all. I need help on becoming subie savey. Where do I start? I would really like to get a subaru (someday) and be able to work on it myself. Right now I just want to read about them. Any cool websites out there?
