thank you ihscout54 I guess I'm blind I searched the older posts but missed that one. anyway. can I use a power steering pump off a ae-81 wagon? also on 2nd thoutht I think the hatch is 06-82 month and year. Ill recheck the build date tomorrow thank you

Ok heres what I got 87 gl wagon, weber, power steering, really BAD cause of T.O.D... blown timing belts. I bought this 83 hatch, no title, rust, manual steering,motor runs GREAT well after beatin this body to death driving it in quad trails out in the back forty Ill be pulling this thing apart. now for the ?'s where do you get a weber EA-81 plate ? can I use the wagon Y pipe we distroyed the hatch's pipe power steering is that a PAP part or will the 82 fit on the 81 also any other parts should I save for the swap Ill be savin some stuff off the hatch after this hatch Ill be needin another

you DEMAND your money back---------3 broken bolts = MONEY tool time - getting tools& parts (taxi's cost money) tool rental-hoist (you dont own the one your using your renting) your time removing bolts = money most important what if you damage the block getting those bolts out. your out ONE motor ==MONEY

I got one from a nieghbor that has no paint on one of the three coils. ?1 is it useable of couse it is but for how long?--- guess please ?2 is there any way to repaint it? if so were do we get the stuff to fix it? Ive pulled 3 out of PAP cars all shot

yes more input please I bought this subaru with abad carb so in other words it didnot run webered it changed oil with delo 400 15/40 runs GREAT but the lifters tap [ off&on]

NEVER EVER flush a limited slip diff the clutch disks in the LSD,s NEEDS a limited slip additive If you were to put seafoam, marvel mistery oil, ATF,....ETC ETC ETC it will dieloute the additive and FRY the clutch packhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limited_slip_differential

Ok im changing out my carb to a weber 87 gl ea82 4WD 5speed H/L power steering power brakes ............. No air no power windows just a basic gl there is a vac line that runs with the 2 fuel lines that are clamped behind the altanator. the vac line goes into the firewall of the car just below the wiper motor. any body got a idea what its for? thank you

ps does the stock carb have 2 fuel lines? and the weber only 1? which 1 do i use? top, bottom, both???

Hi guys names Bob this is my first post I've been reading this forum for quite a while. Lots of good info here. Now for my ? friday I bought this 87 gl wagon 140k on body 75k on japan crate motor. maintence records going back 10 yrs. 300$ well the carb is shot so monday I order a weber kit $333.33;) what vac lines ect ect do I keep & do I remove? so far Im keepin dist. pcv. and the line that goes to the vac can on pass side strut tower. Am I correct? thank you in advance Bob
