OK now im lost I put a ea82 drum on my 83 wagon It works:confused:

on my ea 81 my strut bolt got striped (wrong nut dont ask ) I taped out (removed) bolt from old strut and reset............ there like lug bolts

Universeman I just got done puttin the weber on my 82 wagon............ All I can say is sweet Youre brat has a carter weber as mine did. install went sweet I used the ea82 manifold .........only problem I had was the accelorater cable was to short 27 inches vs 36 inches I got stupid and bought the replacment cable at napa did not fit I had to dremal down the barrel ends and the firewall clip now it works

the car 82 ea81 carter-weber........ Im installing a weber ea82 intake every thing ok so far .. now hooking up the fuel lines the filter has 3 lines fuel in from tank (size 5/16)........fuel out to carb (5/16) .......3rd line looks like a fuel return (1/8) do I need that 3rd line, or just plug it.............. looks like the the tank vent line runs into the charcoal canister.....T or F

do the 5sp swap ........that 4th gear is a gift compaired to the 4speeds 3rd going up slight inclines

pick up a 82 gl wagon with the center light All my other subs 83 86 90 the lights are connected to the ignition. Engine on lights on... Engine off lights off..........Auto lights this one is manual lights is this normal? the center light works but not quite rite ............ Is there more bugs than i think

Yes they will shift on the fly. I've engaged mine at 50+ to test if 4wd works and there's nothing around but pavement ........... do not have your friend in the car that wont be quite. you want NO DISTRACTIONS you want to hear everything. Find a average residential intersection. In 2wd drive circle starting big going smaller drive left drive right. listen to the sounds and feel the wheel (no binding) like noise In 4wd hi DO NOT use low do the same thing start big go small go easy on the fuel you will hear and feel the tires (binding like noise)

thought that too plus its only camber. caster is fine ....... steers fine I did drive in the neighborhood steered strait no pulling

Idea #2 suspension arm bushing.............I cant find any camber adjustment

Yesterday I picked up a 82 gl 4WD wagon 153000 motor sounds great. It has a broken clutch cable so not drivin yet. drivers side front tire is tilted, sloped, leaning, out a whac, top in bottom out. I looked at the ball joints feel ok. what eles could cause this? yes Ive searched the forums till I cant read any more. Ive never worked on a strut car suspension. I got a Idea could the struts be dead and flat cause this. cause from what I understand I could turn those nuts up on the struts and get lift but get a lot of poss camber :-\

6 months funny this post came to life last week coil started to fail today:confused:

thats funny I put mine on in may, Still works plugs gaped at 50, no problems. OH its on sideways Cant report any change in performance put it on first day I got the car. I can report I get 32 mpg thats on the freeway country roads 36 mpg......very little city driving but still 27 83 gl wagon 4WD, windows down, roof rack, 185 70 13,
