  1. Congrats--sounds good. I like the idea of stainless steel. Down the road come back on here and let us know how everything is holding up.
  2. Welcome to USMB, Ron. Great community here. Start a thread in the New Gen Forum with any car questions you have--you're sure to get advice, suggestions and help there.
  3. Thanks, Fairtax. Maybe we got the 1 time out of 100! Swapped MAPS & PSSSV solenoid--no change. Replaced vacuum hoses and "tee"--no change. Was hoping there might be another seal that could be the culprit. Oh well, back to the drawing board! Todd--sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread.
  4. Hey, Fairtax--where is that injector rail seal? How do you access it to replace it? (Just wondering if that could be the root of my son's P0106 problem!)
  5. Welcome to the USMB, Cat! Your Li'l Red Wagon looks great--enjoy!
  6. Welcome aboard USMB, Guy! Sounds like you're enjoying your Subaru experience. You've found a great resource here--good folks, willing to offer advice and help. Thanks for the pics and good luck with your Subie adventures
  7. Welcome aboard, BkUSMC! You're gonna' love this place. Can we assume you're a Proud Marine?
  8. Congrats! Let us know your reactions--how they feel to you after you've driven around a bit!
  9. Welcome to USMB and the Subaru clan! Ask any "technical" questions in the New Gen Forum--you're sure to get helpful advice there.
  10. Wise approach. Might help to know what town you're in or near!
  11. Get an Aisin water pump--they come with a Subaru OEM quality metal gasket.
  12. Welcome to the USMB, Carlos! Lotsa' good folks here with a wealth of information to share.
  13. But don't put them up here in Meet n' Greet. Post them in the Marketplace Forum! And yes, welcome to USMB.
  14. Congratulations on finding Subaru! And welcome to the USMB.
  15. Welcome to the USMB. I have just one question . . . what is DSM?
  16. Welcome to the USMB, Cliff R! You're going to love it here!
  17. Welcome to the USMB, Francisco! I'm going to ask that your thread be moved to the New Generation forum.
  18. Don't mess with the rear main! Consensus here on the board is that installing a new one is tricky and chances of botching it up are too great. Besides, to my (untrained) eye yours looks good! I'm sure others with more experience will give you good advice on sealing the separator and wrist pin plates. Good luck!
  19. Yup! Enjoy it! J/k . . . welcome to the USMB. Hopefully you won't need any help here for a long, long time, Just keep your fluids topped up and if anything looks or sounds odd, check it out ASAP. While your car is under warranty take it to the dealer to check out any problems--that will at least document a situation in case it worsens down the road. But generally all that Subarus need is a little TLC and some PM (Preventive Maintenance.) Good luck and happy driving!
  20. Time . . . and $$$! But yeah, it sure is intriguing! Thanx for sharing.
  21. Welcome, khalimatical. You're right--this is a pretty special place, the USMB.
  22. Well, you chose the right car . . . and the right forum!!! Welcome. Suggest you post your headlight questions on the New Generation forum--you're more apt to get answers there.
  23. Daniel--strongly suggest that you take the car back to the dealership. Talk to the Manager--ask him what they can do about it. If you get flak, post back here and let us know. Good luck.
  24. A suggestion, Wallis: You also forgot to tell us what the car is! Year, model, engine, tranny, mileage, how long you've owned it--all help us "visualize" your possible situation.
