  1. psssshhhhhhh who needs a full roof rack. hhhhaaaaahh jp
  2. DUDE ME TWO. 19 broke and just enrolled in college. hah. ************.
  3. I recently did a rebuild on my hi-crappy carb. New fuel pump and filter too. definetly runs better. idles steady and doesnt randomly shut off when at idle hah. if i loaded up the engine(25 in 4th or 5 th) and floored it that would fix the random shut off when idling. idk how but it did. it left me with a giant backwards question mark in my head. BLEHH. I tubbed the interior of most plastic and door panels. cut out the door pockets though. i use those hah. tinted my tail lights and window light too. blacked out my rear emblem and key hole. oh ditched the plastic gutter/slider for roof rack. ditched the "wing" and the back trim pieces and gas cap. im gettn a lockn one soon though noones gonna ever get more than a gallon or two out of my tank. hell theyll prolly get dirt or silt.
  4. yah i think im gonna just start fresh like you said
  5. oh i effed it up now. ha there is the egr one which i found has the same color wire as the one i traced to the fuel pump wire. which is ( sorry guys) not a single green one but a single blue one. sorry sorry. its hangn rounghly below the relay. i believe this is that wire because its connected to the positive side of the pump.
  6. so the green wire with a red stripe running from the pump to the single wire lime green plugin is nothing?? this plug is jsut hangn there and i dont see anything for it to plug into.
  7. ur talkn about that lil black box with the mitsubishi lookn sign on it right?? its like 3inches long by two inches wide by 1 inch tall? and its got a metal strip that bolts it down??
  8. and ill try that defroster relay idea thanx bunches
  9. alrighty. well there isnt an ecm, the green plug is a one connection only. i will definetly check on that this afternoon when its 34 degrees instead of 15 haha thank you peoples ill keep ya updated
  10. damn i wish my gas guage looked like that. mine always looks like oil pressure guage. some where betweeen zilrch and an 1/8 of a tank blehh haha
  11. alright so i bought my subaru about 1 yr ago. the owner previous to me had rigged somthing up wierd. my fuel pump works great. but it doesnt shut itself off when the key is on(not running). i have an 4wd 5spd 87 gl wagon carbd. i was trying to locate the relay for it or somthin jsut anything even. well i traced the original wire( i hope its green with red stripe) under the dash to a lime green female connector. its not plugged into anything. jsut kickn. is there somthing missing?? am i trippn balls??? what should i be lookn for. another question. what are the plugins and two relays for under the vacum chamber on the passenger side between the strut and firewall?? help is greatly appreciated thanxs. hah and i had no idea this damn had so many wires for being carbd and having no power options.
  12. oh ************ yah! hah that thing is tiny. id definetly use it
  13. from all the stereos ive done. black= ground blue= remote accessory / light dimmer could be anything and yellow is usually the power wire. red is your memory i believe so all ur settings stay set
  14. i glass packed mine sounds sweet especially at idle when my carb was effed up. sounded like it had 292 cams in it haha. its pretty loud but its bad rump roast
  15. well from my experience with mine its way under powered( its a carb model hah thats why). mine had an overheating problem forever i was gonna freak da fack out. changed the water pump, thermostat, flushed the block still overheated. well turns out i just needed to flush my radiator and that did the trick. when you go to fill it with water raise the idle to like 2-3 grand, jack up the drivers side of the car like 2 feet higher off the ground, let it run for like 15 minutes holding pressure on the hose everytime you add coolant so the air bubbles go buh bye. thats what id say it is. hell it might just be normal for it
  16. pretty limited. you can finde either peugeot wheels or go to allied aramament and get theres. idk of much else. alot of people do the 5 lug conversion or the 8 lug custom fit idea
  17. mine has done that before but it wasnt a sticking cable it was the throttle shaft getting stuck against the little coolant hose on the drivers side of the carb h
  18. i know on the 85 el camino i had to clear the codes u just have to disconnect the battery for like 10-20 minutes and the brain will clear the codes reset everything and then itll go through the process of relearning everything which will trip the codes if any come up.
  19. hey sup? well i swapped an identical engine for my 87 carb'd 1.8 gl and was like do i really need all these lines???????????? well i went out and looked and i only have 3 vacuum lines going from the carb to a different spot.Runs awrsome. but where i live there arent emmission testing so if u have it well ur screwed then ha. the chilton/haynes maunals have a pretty good diagram for that. it takes a good study though to understand it. i can send some pics if u want to take like 2 miles worth of vacuum lines off
