holy crap lol this linkage is by far the worst I've seen.. when going around turns it will flop around haha and so much that you can hear the whine from the tranny when it does so. I for sure will get this replacement It makes finding 3rd a little hard

It seems the unit is crime stoppers but I'd have to check when its less damp and brighter out. It has a red push button near the fuse panel.. not sure what it does lol

Im shocked how good the leather is.. I'm debating right now if I want to take the battery out and bring it in and put it on a charge since it's been sitting for weeks dead.. I wen to get gas and I had to jump myself but after I got home it was charged enough to start on it's own. Also anyone know if you can mix gear oil weights? I forgot to take it off after I did the pictures and someone ran over it :-/ seems like the bumper had a slight bend to it since the passenger side headlight never really sits right.. plus cracked at the top and water was inside and water hits a hot bulb.. you know the rest.. hopefully it wont be too much longer until I get the JDM headlights in.. First mod as soon as I get home.. I put in my LED map lights (gotta fix passenger side) and the LED dome light I had from my 95 Legacy.. very bright as you can see. Just map light maplight and dome dome I got a CEL the most consistent one is about the knock sensor I'm sure it's cracked.. and I had a misfire on Cly 3 & 4 but I cleared them and I haven't seem them back yet but the plug wires look pretty check so I haven't done much today since I'm pretty worn out.

seems to be aftermarket I saw it when looking for the seat heater fuse I will try and grab a pic before it gets too dark.

the extra power over the 2.2 is nice but I was at 4K at 60 MPH because I could not get 5th 3/4 went to a 1/2 in about 90 miles

yeah I figured it could be that the gearing on this car is awesome in what little bit I can use..

Car does not use a clutch cable.. I did a little video but will post it when I get back in.

Driving the car home I dont have 5th gear! Also sometimes the clutch pedal sticks to the floor

now that I'm home that horn speaker is placed 100% like the factory write up... I'm going to check as soon as I get to the car which should be about 2 hours from now. It looks to clean to be aftermarket IMHO.

I just thought of something.. So the battery was dead because the car was sitting so long and when I hooked my jump pack to it, all other things say the parking lights should flash but as far as i can remember i don't think I saw them flash.

I will check tomorrow morning but I can't seem to find a replacement remote if it is the stock Subaru system?

So it's possible it could already be installed but someone lost the remotes (weird?) having said that I have a spare transmitter from my 2003 Forester XS I wonder if I can use that? I wanted to get a ball park number for doing the DOHC cams.. is $250 sounding like too much? I wanted to do the cams on my Ej22 but I changed.

Go by what the manual says for plugs.. DON'T use Bosch platinum plugs!

haha I was hoping you were still active here did the dealer have the linkage part on hand or did they have to order it? I have some punch pins but I have to go check to see if I have the sizes you listed.. interesting I did not know it was two pins. If it keeps raining im going to have to put up a huge tent.

That is not true about the dome piston thing about these engines. Ej25 from a 97 Outback interference engine http://home.comcast.net/~skipnospam/images/15-block_from_drivers_side.jpg problem is that and the valves can hit each other say a belt broke it's still going to have some movement which will for sure cause one of the cams to be off in which they hit each other plus the piston.

yeah I know what it stands for I was just wondering because it seems like some cars ran without them plugged and some died not too long after starting without them connected.
