  1. I'm hoping someone can answer this quick, so I don't have to spend hours reading threads on the various Soob boards. My donor engine is from a '95/'96 2.2, and has 4-hole injectors. My ECU/Harness is from a '91 2.2, and has 1-hole injectors. Can/should I use the 4-hole injectors?
  2. So, whatever happened with this? Did you get it sorted out?
  3. floor jack works good . . .
  4. Nelson. Lots of Soobs here -mostly on the road. Even a guy with a lifted Loyale.
  5. Expensive cool parts. The yards are mostly a ripoff up here. Plus, most of the cool stuff went to the states.
  6. Cool, yah I'm in the Kootenays. Where are you in WA? Spoki?
  7. I know the sensor is a little different mounting. All I am concerned about is whether or not the signal output to the CPU will be OK.
  8. Yay - solves one headache. Now I just need to get my dad to finish machining the FW before the snow comes.
  9. Well, he has already removed the manifold from the block, and I did not get to see the block. I'll have to ask more ?'s next time I'm out there.
  10. Were there any differences in the cam and crank sensor wheels from 1990-1996 on the EJ2.2? I have a 1995/6 block and heads (roller rockers), and a manifold/harness from a 1992. I know the sensor connectors are different (sensors in block only have connections for Signal +/-), but not sure if I'll run into any issues other than that.
  11. A guy here has a JDM EJ that seems different to me - the intake manifold is black, and does not seem to be aluminum. Any idea what this engine is? No, I don't have pics.
  12. Hey! Got a couple questions on the harness and stuff. Yah, I'm just getting to it now - but the pressure's on. My driveway will have snow soon, and I need to get it running!

  13. I have seen a number of nice Soobs in the small towns along the gorge on different trips down that way! Wish I could find them the same way nearer to home.
