  1. More colors I like: @Hush777: Is this the champagne gold one?
  2. Thanks my Hawaiian friend Here is a pic of my Leone and another one when they were a couple y old. I like this red one alot, but I still like the gray color
  3. No thanks. I don't see that as a Retro color. Too flashy, too shiny
  4. I'm going to give my GL-10 Leone Sedan a new paintjob. I want an old school retro one color paintjob without metal flakes and candy colors. What color do you suggest for me? Please post pics of a car in that color, best if it's a EA82 I don't want Black, and not White, and not Blue I have a little craving for light red or the original color, just a slight darker one. I'm doing a EJ22 Swap w/EJ gearbox this winter and I want a new paintjob before I do the swap Pic of mine like it is today... Got 420.000km on the clock (262.500miles) Like it was when it was 2y old:
  5. Congratz, I'd like to see some pics, before and during mods!
  6. Def the rotors. Change them out and the pads also... and if you can feel it to the steering wheel, it's def the front rotors
  7. Those are stock EA82 struts w/ Ebay Honda Civic coiloversleeves, $20-30, works fine, the ride is bouncy though...
  8. Well, didn't want to run through the whole thread, but I have three theories and I know one of them is right... Tiresize or pressure balancepole bushings And the thing my 86 leone went through, bushings for the diff, I got myself some hard POM plasting bushings and my car stopped turning left or right when pulling or letting off
  9. First of all, check if the defroster is connected in the rear windshield, then check the fuse under the dashboard, drivers side. If neither of these work, you could connect a wire from the connectors in the windshield and mix a 12v socket on the other end and plug it in and if it works, you've got a bad wire somewhere. You could put new wires for it but is it worth the trouble?
  10. I have two sedan GLX Leone '86, one I got for $400, one for $150, and I just bought one more two days ago for $200. Buy it, if you can't use it... then just part it. You can see if it has a LSD on the back of the diff, should be a sticker on it, and if there will be a LSD, your wagon will be better offroad. Just make sure that the gear ratio is the same. The LSD probably has 3.9, bur some have 3.7. And yours probably have 3.9. Just compare the stickers in the back of the diff. The rear disk conversion isn't hard, almost plug n' play. Just get new rotors and new pads and if you want to, you can put a nissan brakepump with e-brake so you can get an rear e-brake, saw a thread about it a while back.
  11. The exchange rate is craaaazy now, we have to pay up to 3-4 times more for the same part if we import it here So a webber would be maybe $200 for you, but for us we would need to pay $7-$800
  12. We dig in the tire-dumpsters for old tires that ppl think they have used up. But most often we find tires that have 40-50% left
  13. I have a Leone '86 with the EA82. I have had a problem with the Hitachi carburetor with manual choke. It runs fine but it won't idle. I've tried carb cleaner, alot of it, but it didn't do any good. At one time or another I've had this problem with all of my previous EA82s. Usually this problem goes away in a few miles, but not this time. What is causing this?
  14. English is really our other language... So don't be afraid, 90% understand English
  15. I knew I would get Q about the eruptions eventually It's not affecting me that much, just the part where I need to get on an airplane to night to get to the other side of the island, and I'm not sure I'll be able to get there Ever though Iceland is small, it can make a BIG scandal The island is sparsely populated with less than 300,000 Icelanders, 180,000 of those live in greater Reykjavik. Akureyri, the second largest town has a population of some 16,000. That means that the population density in Iceland s very low. In most areas you see farmstead every few miles, sometimes nothing for 10 miles and more. Essentially nobody lives in the central part of the island where you can find the volcanic activity. You can see many abandoned farms, where people have left the farm and moved to the city. There are villages here and there, most are very small. Even the larger villages have only a few hundred people living there. Many people live in isolated farm steads. A lot of the farm steads have a small church with them. There are lots of different looking churches, from very small buildings with just a cross on them to larger churches with steeples. Here are some volcanic shots my friends got
  16. Not sure where to post pics of my ride, but I hope it will be safe here.
