  1. No for the existing pumps...it is in the Jet boat this will be mounted. Both will be running together @ about 3600 rpm.
  2. Ssssshhh the tax department can hear us! I have not dived commercially for a decade but have been lured back to this as a long term 'dream' by the gold price index. I have a couple of equally idiotic mates to help, some prime areas to explore and financial hunger aplenty! Going for the big nuggets ...flakes will work too but I really want some colour. I will be pleased to update you, without any location details of course!
  3. diving a few rivers looking for gold with a 4" suction hose. lots of gold.
  4. Yep that was one concern, I will be breathing that air so a failure would be catastrophic. (Emergency air then accent from depth)
  5. Thanks for the input Porcupine, she will be running at 1/4 to 1/3 throttle so that shouldn't be a drama. Weber and distributor too, so no error code I can assure you.
  6. Howdy to all, I am a little worried about a part of my 'grand plan'. Advice needed. I need to draw two lots of 5.5 horsepower (11 max total) from the FRONT of an EJ22. I want to run an Ingersol Rand hookah diving compressor and a high pressure water pump. Could I run these with electo clutches (ala A/C compressor style) and off the serpentine belt system? How much can the bearings handle I wonder? Pipe up if you have something to say...
  7. too wide with the over head cams.. Not really an upgrade either. Thanks for the input though.
  8. I am slotting an EA71 in a 1990 Brumby for an emergency measure.. A primary work ute is down for the count and urgently needed. A good friend (non member, yet non internet and non mobile phone farming type sort of a bloke..bought the brumby new though so RESPECT at 330,000kms) We cannot find an EA81 on the Island. Is there any pitfalls Which clutch would be best? Suggestions? Anyone done the reverse? It all goes down on the weekend so please pipe up ASAP. Many thanks on behalf of Howard, he is touched by the help so far. BTW this is the vehicle.. Cheers Matt
  9. I have a 1.5 litre alloy one in mine, sits under the tray in the cavity behind the cab. Required when your ute is as thirsty as mine. I purchased mine, I would make one next time out of a fire extiguisher or an old gas bottle.
  10. http://www.hidrus.com.au/products.htm These guys have both headlight sizes and with full replacement reflectors and lenses. Problem solved. I run then in my Cibie oscars...amazing light output.
  11. Merry Silly Season Slim.

  13. Turbo wategate acutator would be worth a look, My TD05 one is so stiff I can hardly move it. Boosts a treat though, might do the job for you.
  14. No worries, I will sort it if you need one. PM me your details and we will sort something out.
