  1. I've got many, many years on ATF, still no issues on any of them.
  2. I'll do one or all of the above. Depends on my mood that day. Thanks for the input.
  3. Guess I could take the header off, cut the stainless tubes, pull the spacers off and then plug them?
  4. Bingo! I've got one of them taking up space.
  5. Thats kinda what I was thinking. I dont think I can do it with the engine in the car and I surely am not pulling it for that. Maybe someone has done it in the car.......
  6. Or whatever its called. What is the easiest way to remove that whole setup. The stainless tubes are leaking at the fittings where they connect to the spacer between the exhaust header and the head. Putting a wrench to them isnt going to work. Can I remove that whole spacer? Will the header bolt up without it? '87 ea81
  7. I didnt find anything adjustable. Maybe its an in-store only thing?
  8. Wish I had an Autozone within 150 miles.
  9. Is/was there much of a suspension on these when they were new? I did a drive yesterday, 100 miles on a gravel road, hammered me to death! THe front wasnt quite as bad as the back. Bang, bang, bang in the back. Granted the shocks might be the original, I need to look. Can you make these ride decent on gravel roads? Mind you, I still have hard, studded snows on, which contributed to the rough ride.
  10. Going to be a busy week, obviously. When I get a chance I get there and let you all know.
  11. Just found out today, I will try and find the guy this week.
  12. Too old and settled for a divorce.
  13. Just found a guy locally who allegedly has about 20 older Soobs for the taking. Hmmmm.......
  14. Vacuum leak that has to do with the choke?
  15. I just went through this. Mine was front ujoint almost locked solid.
  16. That pressure is pretty much the way most of them are that I have had. I figure 10psi for every 1000 rpm seems how it works.
  17. Can someone rough guess by looking? He said late 80's-early 90's Soob.
  18. Its on an ea81 and an ea82. I have 2 to do. It is the bigger of the 2 plugs on the 81.
  19. Bending, flying part....just my speed. Righto....thanks.
  20. Shoes seemed too tight. Pull harder??
  21. '86 GL 4wd I dont see anything to adjust on the back side. How do I get the drums off?
  22. I cut it in half and pushed it out after trying to get it out with a press. I did get them moved with the press but there was no room to get them out. I've had more fun doing other things, but it wasnt awful for a first time.
