13 mpg In 99 Outback.....
- 13 mpg In 99 Outback.....
first off, yeah, 13 is bad and needs to be tended to. maybe mine could be tended to as well, but that's how it's been since i bought it 4 years ago. also, i don't have a gas pedal. i have a go and stop button.- 97 Outback AWD problems
ok, then why in the posts about the 4x4 switch on auto's is everyone saying that it locks the "center diff"- removal of the silencer trunk in the fender
LosDiosDeVerde86 replied to darylz's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXi've done it. makes it louder, didn't notice any major gains. never dyno'd though- 2000 Outback cuts off on hard left turn
sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me- Very large amount of gearshift play
LosDiosDeVerde86 replied to TedZ's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXit seems this is very common. most of the old subie standards that come into the shop has that problem- 97 Outback AWD problems
could it be a bad center diff?- Coasting?
holding the clutch in won't wear any springs or the pressure plate are anything. you're not holding it long enough to weaken the springs. all that said before is just being WAY too over-cautious- front axle needed
this should be moved to the Market Place- 13 mpg In 99 Outback.....
if anyone got to read my controversial thread "the ANTI gas mileage thread" then you'll understand my position on this topic. so, i'l just say:- General Alignment Questions
LosDiosDeVerde86 replied to mtbe's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXthats a better question....why?- 97 Legacy water in the truck spare tire compartment
LosDiosDeVerde86 replied to cnelson's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXisnt there a drainage hole?- lifted outback
that it does...that it does- why an EA?
i'd love to see a video clip of this thing in action. i've only seen a night-time light pattern picture (know what i mean?) the headlights and the one in the middle. but i didn't know it actually like, lifts up like an eyelid- General Alignment Questions
LosDiosDeVerde86 replied to mtbe's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXno mechanical damage can occur and it's good to get an alignment about every 10 - 15k miles. depending on how many potholes you hit- why an EA?
i think we need to set some parameters here. alot of the comparisons are off base i.e. brat to legacy. you may as well compare a forester to an STi. the cars in comparison should be comparable. hatch - OBS GL/DL/loyal sedans - legacy GL/DL/loyal wagons - outback brat - baja (not much of a comparison) does this seem to be fare or am i being presumptuous (*sp)- why an EA?
i've only heard rumors of the "third eye". never seen one, and never seen one in action.- lifted outback
goto http://alliedarmament.homestead.com/ watch the scrolling pictures on the left. there's a few EA's and then an outback going sideways down a dirt road.- ATTN All lifted EJ's
i agree. anyone read the posts from the link i posted?- ATTN All lifted EJ's
i refer you all to page 4 of "Why an EA?" as to why i'm asking this. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=50467&page=4&pp=10- why an EA?
bigger car, bigger engine - 13 mpg In 99 Outback.....
