  7. bumper update do u guys like this rear bumper? all stainless will cost 250 mild will be cheaper this one is for sale it will fin gen 2 brats dont know what other cars yet. heres the pics
  8. well I. Couldn't find 2.5 but I cut some 3x2 so that it would remain all stock. And it would depend on the demesions of the plate. At the moment our running water jet can only fit 24 x40 sheets our big water jet is currently down. And if there is any bending for the skit plate I couldn't do it. I have I don't have any machines to bend sheet metal or plate yet
  9. its alright man it was me whom told ya. only because i have been drivin that way in my brat for quite a few miles. but i am curious to what other people say. hoping things are decided before i get to welding the strut pieces for ya. ill holp off on those till sunday for you, cheers

  11. Yeah and that was a great campin trip. First long journey since she got runnin and she only kinda broke 2 times lol
  12. its actually not bad at all to do it unless you were to have alot of creases for example the bed would suck to get it out. u could use a wire wheel atachment on a hand grinder as well but u would have to be more carefull not to go too far down, and on my lift there is no welded pieces to the rear end ill post some pics for you at the end of today. i thought about doing the spfi swap but then i rode in the ej brat and well i like the power and i would rather drive my gen 1 for dd then the gen 2,
  13. Yeah I just recently posted pics of them today
  14. well i bought it from pooparu who got it from someone here on the forum. but their easy to make i made one for my buddies wagon costed about 100 in materials. i run toyota wheels that are drilled to fit subaru 4 lug pattern. i run 205/75r14 they measure to about 26.5 inches tall. and i have not cut any of the fenders. but i did do some modifying to the rear torsion bar because the tire hit. but it was a 5 min fix with a grinder. my plans are to ej it as well and make it my wheeler/daily driver. i have most of the bedliner on the gen 2 off. i left it in the bed because i like it there. and its still on the roof because i havent gotten to it yet. but im using a scraper that takes to razor blade tips and i pour some acetone on to the area where im currently removing it. it took me half an hour to do the driver door rear pannel and half the tailgate. its been a process though, gotta try not to go to deep with the scraper.
  15. im steven and im bringin my 1982 brat with ej swap, itll be primer black. and possibly also bringin my 1981 brat as well.... white
  16. introducing my gen 1 brat which ive had a while. mostly straight small amout of rust. it has a 4 inch lift. the maxima alternater swap a custom stainless steel rear bumper, use to have a stainless front bumper but i ruined it. other then that its stock. working on the body work this moth re painting it white. well here she is and here is my 2nd gen brat. bout it a few moths ago from erik, it has a 3 inch sjr lift, ej swap with a 4 speed did a radiator swap from a 98 forester and working on the exhaust today. bodys straight but it had bedliner on it so im removint the bedliner and repainting it black. and doing a 5 speed swap next moth. here she is still havent finished making the top bracket for the radiator but stainless filler rod will do till i get more time
  17. deer island is between ranieer and st helens Oregon. 40 miles north of prtland.
  18. this thread is still going. i have ran into a snag with prototyping. my boss moved a machine into my welding area that is being rebuilt. so i havent had space for it. as far as roll bars i could do them but thats something i need to see one so i can match the factory bolt patterns alot of the bumpers will look similar to the one in my avatar. ill be puting mounts on so that a stinger can be bolted on later. and as of right now i have 3 cars i can do prototypes for. 1st gen brat 2nd gen brat and an 87 wagon. havent been able to find more people to let me use their cars for it. due to the fact its their daily driver.

Also I can't get the check engine light to work bulb is fine.it doesn't turn on when first starting the car either. I'm stumped at this point
