  1. Isn't a o4 sti scoop going to look a little out of place on your car? It even looks out of place on the sti
  2. An air splitter is actually in the scoop to divert air evenly to the intercooler, while the intercooler shroud, would be around the intercooler, going up to the scoop to keep the air, ...in, so to speak. I think both are worthwhile
  3. you might also want to make some ducting to make sure the air is flowing onto the intercooler, and not just anywhere around it. Looks cool though! i'd like to see a daytime pic. -Todd
  4. I guess I should note that mine will also be for a stock turbo 6 and 6?
  5. I thought we needed ten, but if not, that would be great. This is a great deal. I saw TWE headers selling for the 2.5L for $700 from a vendor
  6. Use NGK's---Do Not use Bosch. I've heard many bad things about them, in subarus. Ngk's are meant to be used in our cars. --Todd
  7. I might be interested
  8. ya, put me down for both too --Todd
  9. I like the aussie page, kinda funny. Ya, some good ideas too.., thanks
  10. Nice setup, I might be doing something similar to mine
  11. I eventually want to do some kind of setupon my RX with some PIAA's or HELLA's, and want to see what other people have done. -Todd
  12. "you can always come here and ask" That is true, and I'm sure I will
  13. My RX needs some work done. I have several oil Leaks, including the oil pan, valve cover gaskets, and cam seals. So, I want to change those, as well as the head gaskets, water pump, put in a cooler thermostat, change the timing belt and a couple other things, maybee if I'm feeling saucy put on an intercooler, and swap in some Delta cams. I have never tackled this kind of job before. I have gone as far as the valve cover gaskets on my EJ25. Should I attempt this job myself? Or maybee just get some good advice? My RX is not my daily driver. -Todd
  14. "New Subaru-only Magazine?" Yes, please..
  15. I am going to try to make it up there after work to watch, maybe snap some photos. I'll look for you guys. --Todd
  16. There's a wrecking yard there too, maybee its the same place. Its Almac Auto Wrecking 360-293-7270
  17. Here's a thread about AC conversion http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=359032
  18. sorry, I was tired when I read your response. Where did you see that wrx front clip?
  19. I have "heard" of the ultimate rx, but have not read much about it as I am fairly new to this forum, and to my rx. I spend most my time on Nasioc. I like the idea of the sti shortblock because, while still new, it is proving to be as strong as the ej22t, which is considered bulletproof. Also it has more displacement, and can be found for $1300. If I did drop a ej257 shortblock in, do you think I would run into problems with the ecu? Do the ea82t heads flow well enough to be paired with that block, or would it just be overkill? Thanks for the responses
  20. I know ej257 blocks can go with ej25 heads, there is just a coolant channel that needs to be adjusted slightly. Thanks for the info.
  21. Has anybody swaped a ej series block into ea82t? I figure if I'm going to be changing head gaskets and a bunch of seals, maybee I should just put the sti block in at the same time. I know ej series blocks and heads are swapable. Thoughts? --Todd
  22. Put me down for a header, and a downpipe. Does it matter what kind of turbo I have? Because that might be changed soon enough. -Todd
