  1. I have my RX sitting at my brothers house right now, and I found a basketball sized mouse nest where the spare tire should be. so I cleared it out, and got my brother to put some traps in there
  2. This is my favorite photo from Oregon Trail: If we do a contest, how should we do it, poll or judges, or what?
  3. Dog ate your seat belt, ya heard that one before:rolleyes:
  4. Yes, 97 and later models of the 2.5 L engines will eventually need head gasket replacement after 100,000 miles, sometimes sooner. Not sure if the 96 avoided this problem being slightly different, but mine hasen't had any problems yet. If you like your car, then you just have to accept the problems that come with it. Replace the head gaskets and be good to go. Sorry it had to happen after just purchasing the car. Good luck.
  5. more to come....but now, bedtime
  6. or check out http://community.webshots.com/user/riggidyboo
  7. maybee thats whats wrong with mine, and my brake calipers were sticking. Great time for all this to happen
  8. I also received quite the sunburn. The mud pit was great, and I will get my pictures developed of that tommorrow. -Todd
  9. "i feel i wasted my time." --ya, but at least it sounds cool now:D
  10. The only possible issue that would happen is a possible check engine light, due to a different reading on the rear O2 sensor. You can get a kit that will eliminate that problem for $20, or just have the check engine light on all the time. I have Borla headers on my legacy, and I like them. You can go with the TWE headers if you want to spend a little more money. --Todd
  11. I agree with the "more support, less criticism," idea. Go, WJM, do it..
  12. you could always get some B4 wheels like I did
  13. Oh, ya. Well basically I'm 20 minutes out of mount vernon, so that's why I thought I would meet you guys there.
  14. Hey, when are you guys leaving, because I might want to caravan with you. Meeting at the car wash? Are you planning on meeting up with the seattle guys at noon? --Todd
  15. Nokian Hakka's are awesome. I have the hakka Q's, which are the studless, since we aren't alowed to use studs anymore here, and they work wonders.
  16. Does anyone else find the turbo light to be a little too bright? I like it, but I also like not burning holes in my retinas.
  17. Do you think you could get stainless steel braided brake lines? I'm sure that would make a huge difference in pedal feel. I have Powerslots on my legacy, and they're great. Helps to vent heat and brakedust, as well as prevent glazing on the pads, I would never get drilled though. You would just be loosing surface area, and it makes the rotors weak.
  18. Sorry, no date decided yet. Sounds like lots of people are interested, though. Bluesoob, I don't think Deming's the best meeting spot, people would get lost, but we could swing through to get you. Changing the engine on your wagon? I'm trying to get a hoist too, to pull my engine on the rx, so I can change the gaskets and seals. I think i can borrow a semi engine hoist. It might be overkill, but it should work.
  19. RX parts? You've caught my attention.
  20. I've been considering the idea of a subaru cruise to Mt. Baker at some point this summer, and the idea has been well recieved on Nasioc. Here is my original thread http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=603463 Still, just in the planning stages, but let me know what you guys think. ---Todd
  21. I was lucky enough that mine just came with one.
  22. "anyone find it difficult to heel and toe in these cars" ---yes, that is why instead of using your heel, you try using the side of your foot. just kinda roll your ankle out a little and it should work just fine. --Todd
