    heya dirk, im about to do the same thing for my EA71 in Dunedin, am pulling it tonight, I am after a solid motor, just built to factory specs, im doing this all myself (except machining) I'd be keen to discuss where you are locating rebuild part from.

    just wondering ...since we dont have many of the twin cam motors how much extra has to be channeled out of the chassis to fit a quad cam in there?

    this isnt from Nelson is it? seen a very tidy one when i was up there on holiday...quite unlikely there are 2 in NZ...i haven't seen any older subies for ages...

    im slowly putting together a brumby (BRAT) but cannot find teh return line off the carb... can anyone show me a clear pic of the engine bay and where abouts it is.... Thanks
